This game is too damn good, I can't remember the last time

The difficulty ruined it for me. Shame, because it was cool.

Most of the difficulty is just being aware of mechanics and avoiding telegraphed attacks. It's much easier to get into than something input intensive like DMC4.

You aren't obligated to like it. Few games give a middle finger to accessibility these days though, so those who do like it do so very strongly.

You can get through most DMC games without really being proficient at them. I guess the same isn't true for God Hand, but for both games learning how to play stylishly is where the real fun lies.

What's the trick in this game to making combos that don't suck dicks?

I can't even touch the first boss and it's been pretty easy before now.

The first punch should have decent reach and fast startup frames, and you should save your multi hit moves for later in the combo. Also, save any moves with long animations for the other face buttons.

The better you get at the game, the harder it gets. It's a weird mechanic.

I always did the trick where you dash forward and and kick and the enemies fly backwards or just ran away to single them out. Hope that helps.
