Im about 30 hours in at level 10, going for a balance of shortsword/dagger/magic/archery
ive taken out 3 oblivion gates so far, and found about 4 more while attempting mehrunes razor dlc.
killed the assassin in the jail cell and got his lootbut i cant get any farther than him or I get assblasted by hordes of people.
im getting a teeny bit burned out, and im thinking should i take a break from the side quests and push myself into the main quest a little harder?
or continue with brotherhood of blood/thieves guild?
in the thieves guild im at the beginning basically where I have to steal the tax records, and regardless of what time and when even with 45% chameleon I still get caught every time by the piece of shit in his tower.
i made my game look pretty damn good, i know its 10 years old but man is it comfy
so go through all the oblivion gates then finish main quest?
is there a point to the ball things you get from each gate? im guessing it has something to do with the story?
i played a little bit of it about 8 years ago but it didnt catch on for me. played skyrim about 20 hours, but it got boring as fuck, and now im playing this and its so far the best. probably gonna load up morrow wind after i beat this game
>is there a point to the ball things you get from each gate?
I think you use them for enchantments or can sell them. Honestly, it's been so long I can't really remember. I ought to go back and play it soon.
I think you need to give a certain amount of them to someone at some point to proceed the main quest. Not nearly as many as gates there, so you'll have a few to do whatever with.
I decorate my houses with them because they look cool.

Bitch the world is getting overrun with daedra and you're dicking around
skyrim side quests are garbage compared to oblivion.
