meh... you're picking it up kinda late, not many people playing online anymore. But npcs are actually really good so whatever. You'll still have trouble during certain solo missions tho.

If you are a MH fan and expecting a clone you will not like it.
Be patient til endgame cuz the most from this game is actually how creative you can get with mitama builds which only kicks in after you have a huge collection of them at max level. At max level mitama you gain the ability to swap the skills on it for free without needing to downgrade and level up again.
I actually started enjoying this game more than MH after putting together so many awesome and diverse builds.
In MH your playstyle is ruled by your weapon. In TK your playstyle is totally independant from your weapon later on. All about the mitamas

I've always wanted to get it, but price is too steep for me.
Luckily friends would pick it up cheap too.

There's a demo that you can carry over save data from. Take that for a spin first, then if you like it and decide to buy the full game you can pick up where you left off.

I think its amazingly bland and mediocre.

Its not bad, just completely MEH from start to finish.

I played the demo and the combat was too shitty for me. I dunno if it gets better. Spamming the same combo just wasn't fun.

Take the weapon training from yamato. He teaches you a shitload of different attacks for every weapon.

pretty gud. already had 30 hours this past week alone, then again, a friend i met online while playing EDF saw me playing toukiden, and he had a high level character at phase 11, so i got pretty much carried away.
