>bash triangle the boss
>/v/ has an issue with this
>Boss sets up this huge reveal to make you cower
>>>>Literally easier than the first fucking boss because of a gimmick your not bothering to do
>Oh, we do too have hearts! Don't be mad....
>He knew this whole fucking time
Please return for KH3.
I always found it odd how they just so happened to blow their load with the basic elements (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth) in CoM, leaving us with the less basic/common ones in 2, such as Water, Time, Gravity, and Moon(?).
the reaction bullshit is what pissed me off the most about kingdom hearts 2.
i prefer winning through skill, not gimmicks.
the entire final boss is a fucking bash triangle gimmick.
>the entire final boss is a fucking bash triangle gimmick.
If you're referring to Xemnas, that's not true. You've got Reversal, which only changes your positioning and is mainly used defensively, then there's the part where you briefly control as Riku and need to save Sora and the other part where you're reflecting lasers, both of which are more cinematic than actual gameplay. However, those last two only happen once in the fight and serve as phase transitions, they're not the entire fight, and there's no way you're going to win if all you do is mash triangle for Reversal.
and people think smt mainline games are fun? this and Beelzebub made the game autistic and grindy.
>Derailing this KH bullshit-a-thon
He had literally the most bullshit gimmick possible. An awesome bullshit mechanic, but still bullshit. Pretty much how I sum up Kojima, a man adept at creating awesome bullshit.
I kinda wish they had it something like this:
>Balloon=Aero+Physical Attack (Not just Light)
>Terra=Physical Attack (But power base on your Magic Attack.)
I can't think of a single boss in KH2 where you could win by spamming triangle, the reaction commands were rewards for stomping an enemies shit in, you can get through every fight in the game without using except for the final boss, hell you can beat the ultimate boss in KH2FM with anti-form, even though it's intended to be a punishment.
>Xigbar and Saix were already half Xehanorts back in KH2
NOMURA PLANNED ALL THIS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING WHAT A MAD MAN
>Xemnas talking to Aqua's armor and referring to "her" as "old friend"
>Xemnas has Terra's memories
>Xemas betrays Xehanort at the last second
Xemnas with Terra's armor
>Rage Awakened starts playing
>Xehanort's face when
A Rage Awakened/Darkness of the Unknown mix begins playing
>the armor is a mix of Terra's and Xehanort's
I can still hear it ringing in my skull
Fire Emblem 11 merciless mode. As frusturating as it was, if you emulated and used quick saves, its actually kinda rewarding when you finish a level.
