Every time it gets mentioned the only interesting addition I've seen posted is that damage-sponge Nemesis doll. Which just seems like a chore to deal with, especially if it can't be issened.
But they do since tank controls are pretty much nonexistent in modern games, retard.'
Also this franchise is more than dead so I'm pretty much right.
To be honest.
It may be because it was the first I played before getting into the series. And second best for me is Dawn of Dreams
They were 100% necessary in games with fixed cameras you dumb shit. Obviously not an issue anymore since a third-person action game can't be made these days without at least some camera control.
Still waiting for you to kill yourself.
First Yakuza isn't really that great to be honest. They were starting to scratch some some neat ideas but the overall game was kind of whatever.
Small beginnings, though. Every single title's gameplay manages to kick the shit out of the one that came before it, and it's easily one of my favorite series by now.
Except the alternate controls break the game and make it too easy, you can literally dance around zombies with it and every time you transition to another camera angle using the alternate controls, you tend to end up going back
>Except the alternate controls break the game and make it too easy, you can literally dance around zombies with it
>getting caught in camera loops
That doesn't sound like "100% necessary" to me.
I'd be hyped for Ni-Oh if people didn't keep banging on about it being the second coming of Onimusha when it's clearly going to play more like Souls. Rolling isn't Onimusha, man.
Camera loops are fucking shit, m8. It makes the block pushing puzzles even more obnoxious than before.
>I have no counterpoint and I must shitpost
That ended up being some mobile thing, sadly.
Capcom aren't doing anything in regards to remasters due to the actors whose likenesses were used getting royalties from sales. This coupled with the fact that the series got gradually less and less popular over the years basically means they're not bothering.
>hating on best girl
Press the quick turn button rapidly for a nice jiggle effect.
well too bad. This game was NOT resident evil in the 1500s no matter how badly you wanted it to be. My OCD for gaining souls (or any kind of exp) was never fulfilled.
Onimusha 2 was good but the fucking friendship item system was really annoying. Did anyone manage to get every scenario for each character in one playthrough? I swear that shit isn't possible.
MY NAME IS GOGADANTESS!
THE GREATEST SWORDSMAN OF ALL THE DEMONS!
>play Resident Evil 4 numerous times
>have no problem with tank controls
>mfw so many people complain about them
I just don't get it. Now, shitty camera is something that is perfectly fine to complain about, but tank controls don't seem like much of a problem to me.
It was good that you could just suck up any souls on screen instead of running around making sure you collected them all. I can see why some people wouldn't like it though, especially with those soul-absorbing flying asshole demons.
>especially with those soul-absorbing flying asshole demons.
Yeah, but those are auto-absorb by proximity, so you have to run around to collect them all if you missed any during combat. Which isn't a big deal, but the convenience of drawing them all in at once was nice and it had a nice visual effect too.
>I hope Samanosuke-senpai issens me today!
Seriously, those things were just begging for it. I swear on it, officer.
I like the part when you spin. That was a good trick.
Who was /v/'s favorite side character to play as? Pic related.
>"...a mouth-watering visual feast"
Oyu was the cutest and I choose to believe that Jubei got with her at the end and that she's Akane's grandmother.
>Talking shit about Kaede
God you have shit tastes anon. Literally the best thing about that game. No OP as fuck health absorb like Samo, ranged attacks at the ready without having to fuck with menus, that ninja flip, that throat slit, that exposed thigh...
She was fun as fuck to play, i was really bummed when i finished the game and didn't unlock the option to play as her through the whole game.
