I have never played Skryim or The Witcher. Which should I play

Probably neither. The first Witcher is pretty mediocre and Skyrim is complete horseshit that relies completely on marketing campaigns and hype. There are much better Fantasy Action RPGs out there.

As someone who has never played The Witcher but played a bunch of hours of Skyrim, I'm going to recommend The Witcher. I just can't think of any way it could possibly be worse than Skyrim.

Nah but Dragon's Dogma actually does. I hope Dragon's Dogma gets mods but the modding community only stays with shitty games like Skyrim and Fallout 3 (4 maybe, haven't played it). I understand they're easy to mod though. I wish japs would release mod tools or whatever for more of their games. Also I think the witcher is worth playing if you can get past chapter 2 but I still need to play 2.

It's rather bare bones in vanilla, but mods increase variety and you can easily get some entertainment out of it. The gameplay will still be somewhat shallow though.
