I paid $70 for ps3 special edition $45 for pc version $25 for the season pass $5 for the upgrade to Scholar of Sin Ive paid roughly $145 dollars on one game Ive spent more money on Dark Souls II then all the other games in the series combined. Demon's Souls $60 Dark Souls $60 Dark Souls PC $10 Dark Souls Strategy Guide $10 I only spent more on the other games in the series if you include Bloodborne at another $60
>>323205564 I paid $20 for the SOTFS PS4 and would gladly do so again. I absolutely love the game. Dark Souls 1 had enjoyable PVE but the backstab fishing pvp bullshit ruined that scene. Dark Souls 2 had much improved combat and damn near unlimited replay-ability. I've clocked hundreds of hours in this game and plan too play more.

Other than that, the combat, items, and general way of advancing through the game is way better.

At least in Dark Souls 2 you could run, on fooot, from the very beginning till the very end with no need to warp anywhere. That's completely impossible in Demon's due due its in-congruent hub world design. Just stop anon you're embarrassing yourself.

I actually found the PS4 version today for $15 at a local store so I bought it cause wynaut.
I gotta say. Did the game always looks this fucking lame or have I just been spoiled by Bloodborne? I've only killed Last Giant and Pursuer so far but both of them were much more underwhelmig than I remember.
Also I'd gladly trade 60 fps to get particle effects like Bloodborne has.

This is what DaS 2 does better than DaS Infusions are better than the weapon paths in DaS.
Almost all the paths in DaS are shit or have a limited use. For example, the lighting path doesn't scale with faith and the divine path is incredibly weak even if you're a faith build.
Infusions actually allow you to easily convert a weapon into being useful if you are a magic user.
It actually makes duel wielding viable for a change.
It created a new magic class for quality magic builds
Other than that, it fucks up a lot of stuff that DaS did right, like Adding soul memory which ruins community meta, adding annoying grinding to invasion orbs, Too many similiar boss fights, unconnected world, fucked up heavy weapon animations
I'll never, ever be quite so butthurt as when I played the game and saw just how fucking awful the graphics were.
I'm not a graphics whore, and I never will be, but there's no fucking excuse for how hideous this game is. The absolute worst of the worst for me would be the beginning of The Gutter with that giant pile of polygonal trash that's just a texture over some poorly mapped pillar. Lost Bastille was particularly bad too.
Everyone says the problem was "too many knights". But that isn't the problem, the problem is it's too many knights with similar attack patterns.
I always felt the reason for the knight overflow in DaS 2 came from the fact that most humanoid duel fights in DaS are among the best. This is even true in bloodborne with Hunter Bosses. From has historically screwed the pootch with beast bosses, especially if they don't have a humanoid form.
So the idea was to make everything a knight in DaS II, but they fucked it up by making these knights all fight the same.
Even the pursuer, who can fucking fly around, has a move set that doesn't reflect that fact.
