Shiek and ZSS are the only characters I hate fighting. After extensive 'for glory' matches I can confidently say they're way out of yoshi and sonic's league. I have one friend that is super annoying as megaman but most megamans online are fun.

I'm a Ness main, and I secondary both the Pits. I hate fight Rosa and ZSS. Don't mind fighting Sheik as its just a matter of playing patiently. Fuck Rosa though. I'm starting to dislike fighting against Villager after having to play MJG in a tournament.

Lately I've been focusing almost entirely on Kirby. I know Pikachu has a lot more potential but I'm getting much more mileage out of Kirby.
I keep running into Clouds though and the Kirby/Cloud matchup is so shit for me. On the plus side, the experience from fighting the good ones means I can dismantle the shit ones systematically, but fuck me if approaching a decent one isn't near impossible.
I wish Kirby could get his horizontal air cutter from P:M in this game, it would be such a huge buff.
On that note, the kill potential on up-throw since the last patch is appreciated but it's still way too late compared to other kill throws.

abuse light up tilt, fucking destroys some characters especially when it combos into true shoryu. Don't be afraid to trade attacks since Ryu wins like every one of them.
Also learn to use Focus Attack really well to mess with your tournaments.
And for last just watch pros like 9B, Trela and DJ Jack play him

FOR GLORY IS ABSOLUTE TRASH TO PRACTICE ON AND JUDGE SKILL.
There are much better places to practice online with. Anthers Ladder is really good, and asking on the facebook group of your closest smash community is a good idea as well.
The best way to get better is obviously going to tournaments, as you get can get actual help.

youre ultimately right since his disadvantage state is dogshit, with the worst ledge options in the game, no real good options out of shield and forced to recover from potentially bad angles since his teleport bonks on certain stage ledges
