I love all the art this race gets, but it also seems to get a lot of hate from people that play the game.
I don't understand why people expose themselves to a game that has something that they hate so much on it, though.
>wanting potato people
>not a healthy miqo'te or rougadyn girl
>implying threads like this aren't just thinly veiled attempts to get away from the general and actually discuss the game
I'm trying to start a scholar but archaist is suffering especially since those dps ques. Is it worth it or should I just go white mage if I want to be a healer as an alt to my monk?
Never played FF, but in Tera is the same with the Elin race and shit. It also don't help that the race just got yet another exclusive class and all the non-Elin playerbase is drowning in salt.
The level 50 content is actually the good part of ARR. Everything before was meh. On top of that you'll actually get experience for it now so you're lucky. Plus people running lvl50 roulette for tomes means you'll have people to play with at least.
>still no shota Elin
why is this allowed?
But seriously, them catering to Elin all the time does sound frustrating as fuck. I actually really love their Baraka and Amani race, they're pretty unique to me.
>The level 50 content is actually the good part of ARR.
Maybe 8 months ago, sure, but now it's just a 100 fetch-quest chain
that peaks in a story that is ultimately hand-waved away in 2 quests in HW.
>mfw I blew 5 bucks on that Tataru minion
So this is what true degeneracy feels like.
I still love it though because it's cute.
>not being able to play this game because you hate a race in the game so much
That would be 1000x more autistic than playing the game you like while sitting on the aspect you dislike
>comparing arr with heavensward in retort to me saying the 50 content is the better part of ARR
I didn't say ARR was good. Just that those parts are at least decent in comparison to the rest which was just kill these primals twice.
I just wanted to say that the only race I'll ever ERP on ffxiv is a lalafell. Roe are men with big tits, Elezen are giraffe, Hyur are durr, miqo'te are bland, and au ra are skin cancer sameface.
I will fuck a lalafell's baby pussy for days
>tfw I played TERA on an ordinary server until I got completely sick of it
>tfw whenever I see people talk about ERP in TERA I feel like I missed out on my opportunity to be a slutty elin
>tfw I played Tera in the first closed beta then watched it die when diablo came out and sucked ass
>now it's a shit erp fest
Best combat but questing sucked... One day they'll get everything right? Black desert maybe?
>tfw just got the crystal braves part of ARR
>Still have all this shit to get through
I just wanna go to Ishgard.
>tfw no XIV private servers
I just want to play without paying each month
I looked like this for about three days before I couldn't stand looking so serious anymore.
>One day they'll get everything right?
No. All the biggest problems with TERA come from the fact that it's made in Korea. Any game made there will be mobile game-tier casual shit designed around sitting down for 15 minutes at a time, since that's what most Korean players want. Only ones who have a chance at making a decent MMO are Japan or America, but Japan is too afraid to innovate on something as high budget as an MMO, and America... I don't even know how they keep managing to fuck it up, but they're the ones always fucking up most spectacularly.
>Make a trailer to attract new players
>Make it focus entirely on your biggest blunder
Hey, prospective buyer! Look forward to compete using your favorite minions
against the AI because literally nobody plays LoV anymore :^)
It's a minigame nobody actually wanted that takes far too long to play for the amount of rewards it gives (none) and it only matches players together who are on the same server so nobody even bothers.
there's literally nothing wrong with male lalas fampai
I'd rather an Au Ra.
I think this game gave me a fetish for lizard girls.
Smug lizard related.
Even on the biggest servers, it lasted maybe a week to ten days before the novelty wore off.
People don't even do it for the free weekly GP you get. The LoV area on most servers is literally completely empty.
In other words, yes, it was a monumental fuckup and waste of development ressources, at the worst possible time in the games lifecycle.
No it was doing 'okay' for the first 3 months after HW dropped, then absolutely everyone ran out of things to do because endgame was farming the same 2 dungeons.
They just prove time and time again that they can't make any worthwhile side content. Golden saucer games? Garbage. Chocobo racing? Garbage. LoV? Garbage. Diadem? Everquest-tier of boring monster grinding, and now they lowered the rewards to practically nil.
Ah wow, well thanks for the info guys. I quit right before Dragonsong dropped and at times I felt a bit like going back, but realised I was better for having stopped playing overall.
I want to do lewd things to Alphinaud, but we cant always get what we want.
>people want a new minigame
Post examples of a large number of people asking for this because I have not once heard anyone, in game or otherwise, say 'You know what this game needs? More minigames.'
It had that before HW dropped and shortly afterward. Then the development team decided to take a month off (which was fine and understandable since they were working themselves to death even by nip standards), but instead of coming back strong they decided to cut down on the content people liked (dungeons and midcore 8-man stuff) and suddenly started going experimental with shit that nobody asked for. Which still could've worked out had the content been good and accessible, but it was either shit or completely impossible for most of the playerbase.
Verminion's greatest crime is the time it was released.
The 3.1 story quests last maybe an hour with no new primal fight, Void ark was meh, the EX fight felt like it should have been in the Heavensward base game and Diadem fell flat due to poor multiplayer design. Given the mediocre patch content, with all the attention Verminion got in Live Letters and such it felt as though it had bogarted much of Square Enix's budget and attention- exacerbating the evaporation of good faith in an increasingly disgruntled player population frustrated by Heavensward's poor endgame and failure to innovate.
2.1 was a good standard for content release.
3.1 is fucking abysmal. And it's mainly the fault of the production committee for being downright niggardly with their budgeting for what is unquestionably Square Enix's biggest cash cow (as they try to push FFXV and VII:Re out their collective corporate anus).
What MMO players want is enough questing and raid content that they aren't bored to fucking tears only one month after a major content patch. And for that SE needs to triple its current budget.
Japanese players weren't exactly screaming for LoV and it's just as dead over there as it is in the west.
Nobody wanted LoV, it was some Dev's pet project. If they wanted to implement an April Fool's joke, they should've went with the dating sim, I guarantee you the response would've been more positive.
What really killed Lords of Verminion is that you can't queue for it outside of the Golden Saucer and it doesn't reward enough MGP.
If they add it to the Duty Finder and boost the MGP reward, I guarantee you that more people will play it.
Post cute cat boys you faggots
quit being a faggot anon and post cute cats
I wish I could get this hat in another colour but black, it means the rest of my outfit has to be black as well.
Is it just me, or are collectables complicated as fuck?
I look at the skill descriptions and they tell me everything, yet nothing. The whole thing doesn't feel intuitive, but rather alien to the game. Something i feel like that needed a bit more attention in form of actual quests than a NPC Q&A.
I want to do lewd things with 2 lalafells.
Lalafells turns me on so much, both the males and the females. When I played XIV my character was a male Lala. I could not stop staring at his butt as I played.
I wish I could be a cute Lala and have kinky sex with another cute Lala.
The worst thing about Lalafell is the people who play them. It's like they're a degenerate magnet.
>Want to play as a fem roe so bad
>Their running animation makes MD want to kill myself
Why can't they just fix it to look less retarded?
it's not just you, but it's not complicated. It's super simple yet dimwits have a hard time wrapping their head around it somehow.
Or they try once, fail, and then blame it on the game like you're not supposed to ever fail anything, ever.
>fantasia c@ to humen bean
>instantly regret it
I'm fine with this, Yugiri should have been a not-jipang, xaela should have been voidsent semen demons, but SE was lazy and made them exactly the same.
Yugiri looks like Satsuki
If you can find someone to craft leve turn-in items for you, it's a complete joke. Your biggest limit will be your leve allowance.
If you can't, it's going to be pretty terrible since doing the crafts at the appropiate level yourself is a chore and HQ is rarely guaranteed. You can do Ixal dailies for a boost, but they're limited too and you might want to spend your daily allowances on other stuff.
>tfw her VA was murdered along with her 2 kids
Doesn't take long to get to 30, the hunting log and fates will probably be fastest while you are waiting on your queue to pop, once you hit 30 and can queue as sch though it will be smooth sailing on those queues
Why is she so perfect?
>I will never be a cute and sexy Lala
I want to die.
You don't want Verminion to get popular and give genuinely lucrative rewards, because the whining to get it nerfed will overshadow the current whining over it being wasted development time.
Even as the dumbed down RTS that it is, it's still mechanically more difficult than anything else in the game (which says a lot really). The vast majority of the playerbase will get stomped over and over and raise hell over it.
>playing with the french
God, no. I drop if I'm ever in a party with one of those Gallic retards. Never speak English, never listens, tries to understand, communicate, or play in a normal non-retarded fashion. All the good French pretend they are English.
No I'm fucking tired as Hell of that stupid fucking Taffyta top. People tell me there's 'plenty' of slut-glamours in this game but everyone wears that same fucking top where the fuck is the variety?
Actually don't know why I forgot about hunting logs. I did them from 1-15 expecting instant que as a healer into sastasha only to see 30 minutes and remember I'm a dps. I guess I'll get back in that. Still going to be a shit time waiting on people to run low level shit with me.
Out of curiosity, did they improve that dub for HW? They improved the german one to the point where it's tolerable (though still too bad to use), but I recall switching to french once during ARR and even I could tell it's awful despite me speaking next to no french.
>tfw no qt femroe gf
>all the FF14 porn is just [email protected] and potatoes
>barely any femroe art, even less lewd art
Everyone wears the thavnair whore dress though.
> 3.1 is a collosal failure
> 3.2 is still months away and is probably going to be shit again.
> blade and soul launches in less than 2 weeks and is f2p
rip in peace ff14
>I drop if I'm ever in a party with one of those Gallic retards
So you just don't do Duty Finder then? I don't see why you would encounter one outside of being on an EU world center but they're literally impossible to avoid there. I can count the frenchless DF run I've had on one hand.
I want a big sexy roebro to cuddle with at adamantoise.
I have encountered them every once in a blue moon on American data centres with all languages ticked. I can't imagine how awful it must be to be in a world where there are so many of them.
how hard is the get the crystals for the relic first stage? Any % drop rate?
>play Elezen as one of the few handfulls on the server
>multiple RP free companies mains Limsa Lominsa
>hundreds of miqo'te and lalas
>laugh on repeat
Race war when.
Some german players (shit or not) went full elitist and speedrunners more than usual. They can shit up a run witout waring, like ignoring mechanics, or not telling anyone what they are about to do (in general tanks). A source of endless raid drama in FCs too.
Then there are the pure casual german players, who are by default bad at the game.
Last but not least the good german players went mostly casual because of boring content and those other germans mentioned above they are forced to run with.
Meanwhile the fench are pretty bad, but not elitist. They get mad, but don't act superior to anyone but the germans. There are a few amazing players on the same level as the amazing german players, but again without the ego.
Quite rare to see anyone not using that permanent angry face.
>I can't imagine how awful it must be to be in a world where there are so many of them.
Let's just say fights where you have to explain mechanics or communicate at all are... trying.
Steps of Faith still haunts my nightmares
I don't have an f-list.
>queue for LoV
>first time doing tournaments
>end up twice with the same player
>someone from my server
>is a Hilibrand and Mandragora spammer
>see them across the room on another LoV
>look at them, they don't move
>suddenly their head targets LoV
>I bail out before they get into DF
>they notice a few seconds later and cancels DF too
Fuck you, Aki Tribal.
yea, i dont like the angry face that much.
Best girl, best minion.
5 weeks of hunt and worth it.
>Even as the dumbed down RTS that it is, it's still mechanically more difficult than anything else in the game (which says a lot really).
That's not true. It's only difficult because of the controls and zero balance. This is NOT good game design.
No. I'm mostly into butt worship and stuff.
If it weren't for verminion, we wouldn't have the prince/princess of verminion titles in the game. That alone makes it worth all the development time, it's the best S-tier, cute/10 title for females.
We could of had viera but we got au ra. Thanks for nothing yoshi, after all you are the reason why the game is bleeding subs.
Have a good day, Anon.
>end up with titan story mode in progress

it's not, unfortunately
got my new weightlifting set coming in
I like it, but it's just over used.
This game could have been the game to dethrone WoW and maybe restore the MMO genre, but no, they had to go and completely fuck up.
How could SE be even less competent than Blizzard? Shit makes no goddamn sense.
It'd be nice if FF14 had more detailed bodies and proportions...
I could do that, yeah.
It's as dumbed down an RTS as it can possibly be, it can't get any simpler than that as far as controls go.
You're not a consolefag I hope, if you're trying to play an RTS with a controller, well I don't know what to tell you. It's entirely your fault in that case.
As for balance, that's just the nature of anything PvP, you adapt or you die - this isn't the 'everybody gets a medal' kind of content that you get in PvE.
If they haven't even addressed WAR/AST/SMN dominance in ACTUAL PvP, what makes you think they're going to give a shit about verminion balance.
>started playing at 2.0's launch

>FC reforms and we recruit new people, eager as fuck to start doing content with cool people again
>people start quitting shortly after Savage comes out
>I haven't played since 3.0

Worth it? I was on Gilgamesh. I know that server will never be dead.
I want a big brown Roe to
Anything is fine. I just like talking with other people, so I'm not picky.
You ask that to a company that, despite what FFXIV:ARR did to them and the MMO community, still cuts budget and takes away developers from the XIV team to work on FFXV - It might come someday: Wasted Development Money Edition and FFVII-Re-Episoded?
Nigger bunnies should stay in Ivalice.
Dog girls when
Controls are shit on both controller and mouse+key. Some works better on the other though, but non handle very well in any situation past tutorials.
They know nobody likes LoV, yet of course SE pushes tries to it now to get any more interest out of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms-pHsVZV7U
This thread gets posted everyday and then the balmung erp crew comes and shit posts about their e-sex shit and it's all so predictable.
Also btw Savage Alex is killing the game.
>>people start quitting shortly after Savage comes out
Knowing that A3S has broken up an uncountable number of statics always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.
I mean, the internet is full of self proclaimed toughguys and it's nice to see something put people in their place. Not you specifically, but speaking generally.
In the grand scheme of things, I think being remembered for putting out content that was TOO HARD is a pretty good notch on the bedpost for a game.
Not to mention cutting content to sell it in the e-shop.
Not talking about old seasonal shit, but things like Sleipnir which obviously was going to be loot for Odin trial.
I think it is a breath of fresh air to see so many faggots give up now because content is too hard. Sure as fuck beats the "everything is too easy" plea! Git gud scrubs
>Controls are shit on both controller and mouse+key
It's fine on KB+mouse (obviously), there's no excuse on the other hand for trying to play it on a controller.
You might be able to get away with raiding on a controller, but it is a objectively inferior input mechanism for just about any activity you can imagine.
It would be like trying to operate a steering wheel with your feet and then complaining that cars aren't designed very well.
Don't give up!
I couldn't clear it with several different groups when it came out, because tanks and heals fucked up. A year later i went into DF and cleared it.
From then on I was able to get into farm groups and cleared it 90% of the time.
Oh don't get me wrong it's great to see a content wall, like titan hm back in the day, or turn 9.
But I'm on about how casuals make up the majority of this game and while it's funny, a lot of them would quit and a desolate game isn't that good.
>You might be able to get away with raiding on a controller, but it is a objectively inferior input mechanism for just about any activity you can imagine.
So you know shit about the controls. Got it!
Blame all the people complaining about how Final Coil was too easy because the top raiding groups cleared it in a week when they themselves couldn't clear it until they had full i130 and maxed echo.
AS3 isn't a wall though.
The old Titan HM blocked everyone from getting the relic. AS3 doesn't block shit except another hard mode of another fight which 99% of the playerbase doesn't care about in the first place.
>A breath of fresh air
They had content like that before. Second Coil took a good while to clear, not to mention Second Coil Savage. The difference between those was that clearing Second Coil was eventually attainable even to casuals and Savage was an optional achievement for the big dick raiders instead of the only raiding content in existence. The current model is benefitting no one. It doesn't help that A4S is a really shitty, unfun fight.
>favour system still not a thing
why you do this squeenix
Oh, I actually misread that. My bad.
I don't get why you'd want that, though. Normal is fine for casuals. Instead of making normal harder, they should make an Alexander Hard mode which is around the difficulty you described, then make Savage Mode the same as hard but with bigger numbers so it's unforgiving.
>dps still get vomited in the face by the friend of the thighs.
You guys will appreciate A3S and A4S existing, because in the future it will give them collateral to point to when people invariably complain about something being too easy.
Well we tried hard, and this is what happened.
Not the same person, but the last few friends I made there turned out to be whiny trans gendered professional victims who seemed cool at first but would turn to me out of the blue expecting a shoulder to cry on.
Jesus Christ I just want to play a game.
>cute monk friend with exposed face
But the mask is part of the charm.
I still want it off, though.
Well, if you want to cripple yourself on purpose with a controller, than be my guest. It must be horrible being blind to your own limitations.
When I was farming my 100 wins for the achivement in the first week (with a 100% winrate), people like you were probably a good percentage of my opponents and I appreciated the quick matches.
Except they admit they were badly tuned. There's nothing wrong with that level of difficulty, but it should be in a SCOB Savage style raid.
What they should do, and what Yoshi has says he wants to do, is to have three difficulties. Normal equivalent to current Alex normal(i.e faceroll), Hard equivalent to BCOB, A1/A2- basically, midcore, that most groups can clear with some effort, but doesn't require perfection and is somewhat forgiving, and Savage, that is for the epeen brigade and worldfirsters. That would be perfect
Problem is, Yoshi and/or SE is draining XIV as a cash cow, so they don't have the resources to do this. Honestly, if Midas is badly tunes so that my midcore group can't meaningfully progress, I'm quitting the game to become a casual sub-at-each-patch player.
I loved my lala but I stopped playing because I didn't like paying monthly and didn't get heavensward either.
Should I do it, /v/?
>Hoary Boulder and Coultenet confirmed to be alive.
Best moment of 3.1.
If you're jumping back in now HW should supply you with a good amount of playtime.
Iya desu watashi wa sugoi kawaii desu
I caved a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it. Though I was insistent on playing it as DRG when I main MNK, so I'm leveling up in Vanu stuff while getting MNK to 60.
Need them zephyr winds to bring me 150 rep a day and fuck me out of some of it because the cap never ends in XX0 or X50. I just want the fucking sundrop dance.
Yet those players who can get past the "limitations" are clearly better players than keyboardfags. Not to mention, the game was developed with controllers in mind and keyboard+mouse is stiff as fuck, Sir Clickmaster.
>When I was farming my 100 wins for the achivement in the first week (with a 100% winrate)
Oh wow. You're one of those faggots!
I'm perfectly willing to believe the draining funds thing because FFXV is so obviously garbage vaporware at this point, yet the money has to come from somewhere, and Square-Enix is bad decisions: The company.
But in this one instance I call bullshit on the drained funds impairing their ability to design a third difficulty. They could just tune Savage-tier raid, then lower all damage/HP values by 5%-20%, depending on the difficulty level they're aiming for. If it ends up being a little too hard or too easy due to poor judgement, who cares? The difficulty span between the three Coil raids was huge, yet all of them were considered generally fine by the populace at large.
I'm of the opinion that A3S is one of the best designed fights they've come up with, in a sea of mediocrity. A3S and A4S have proven that fights with more varying phases/mechanics, and overlapping mechanics (A3S), is more interesting than doing the same mechanics over the entire fight with slightly more damage on top (A4S).
Also I'd argue that the enrage scaling on A3S isn't that different from T4 at i70 or T8 at i90, or getting T12 4 bennu at i110 (people had i185 going into Alex Savage). Most groups that were stuck on A3S, were simply shit at mechanics (missed stuns/tethers in the adds phase, digiwipeus, poor sluice/protean strategy, bad stun rotation on the gaol, etc...)
>But in this one instance I call bullshit on the drained funds impairing their ability to design a third difficulty.
Take in mind that the devs had a month long vacation after Heavensward's release.
I want a thick roe.
I think A3S definitely exposed the weakness of the general playerbase - they're ok as long as the fight is about pure memorization, but the moment you need to improvise and deal with something unexpected they spill their spaghetti.
A memorization fight you can fail initially but even bads will get it on the 1000th try because everything is ingrained by then.
With something like A3S that can keep throwing you new curveballs due to RNG combinations, you will NEVER clear it if your brain just isn't good enough.
Personally I'd like to see more of the latter too, as memorization by itself is not a particularly noteworthy skill - but that's not what keeps MMOs afloat, because the playerbase is just not that good in general.
Naw senpai, A3S is midtier at best.
The 5 best designed fights in the game, listed in the order they were added, are (and these are of course before the mechanics were nerfed and echo was added, so when the encounter was new):
A3S almost has too much going on in it that they could have split it into two different encounters and given us 5 floors of Alex.
Since I'm making lists I'm also going to like my 5 least favorite fights in the order they were added to the game
The man leading design on the first Triad fight is the same guy who led Titan Ex and Thordan, so Warring Triad will probably be pretty good
I think if A3S had been somewhere between what A2S and A3S are now in difficulty and A4S had been on the same level as what A3S is now people would've been mostly fine with it.
Full disclosure, I've never been past A1S because my raid leader at the time went full autistic faggot like the first time we saw Oppressor jumps, but what I've seen from videos and word-of-mouth is that A3S is comparable to T4 and T9, maybe a bit tougher. That's fine.
what about the fact noone save for a few teams can clear a4s without exploit cheesing, even world first squeazed it out only due to cheesing not to mention the nips that followed them was 100% based ont the exploit strat.
Is it really more reactionary? Because seriously, I tend to forget most fights' mechanics and just go with it and tend to do fine.
Sometimes things even line up so perfectly my dick gets hard.
Why are English-speaking players so obnoxiously fucking gay? Won't see that crap with French or German players even if they're Roes.
Thankfully there aren't any degenerates like that on my server.
>still posting this for 3 years
Haven't seen you in a while
Well yeah I've been busy doing A3S and relic weapon quest.
I was about to call you insane for that T4 comparison, but this is still kinda ridiculous. T5 could be cleared by casual statics after the nerf and with PUGs in 2.1, A3S is still crushing statics left and right by 3.1.
Normal T9 is a lot closer but still not even nearly there. T7S or T8S is a more apt comparison, and that's not okay for the vast majority of the playerbase.
>The man leading design on the first Triad fight is the same guy who led Titan Ex and Thordan, so Warring Triad will probably be pretty good
That actually doesn't make me happy, since those fights rely almost solely on memorization gimmicks.
I mean, these kinds of fights are good for giving average players a kick because it seems overwhelming at first but they'll get their kill eventually.
They're not actually HARD in the way A3S is hard (that's probably for the best now..) but I guess this is the kind of 'midcore' difficulty that people like so much.
A fight that just throws mechanics at you to memorize is boring, it's like someone asking you "You have unlimited time, what are the first 50 digits of Pi?"
A fight like A3S that relies on RNG to generate curveballs is more like "You have 5 seconds, multiply these numbers and tell me what the last digit is". Much more skillful.
>already saw 2 nin with their relic
Come on dudes, nin relic is so bad take your time.
>quit during 3.0
>friends still playing
>tell me every day they're bored
>stilled subbed though
Maybe, like I said I've never been in there myself so there's a good chance that I'm talking out of my ass.
I think T5 was hard before a nerf in like 2.1? It may have just been broken, I don't really remember.
I really kinda miss raiding sometimes, I've gotten a couple A1S clears filling in for my brother's static, makes me wish I could at least give A3S a shot.
I think memorization and execution gimmicks work better in XIV then reaction gimmicks, largely because the net code in XIV is still pretty shitty and not conductive to quick movements requiring a reaction. Until they decide to move everything client side like WoW instead of keeping almost everything serverside this will be an issue.
There's one that takes place in space where this guy is fucking these 4 young girls... for some reason, and then his young sister comes in and he fucks her too.
Forgot the name.
What would you do if a provocative Lala sat on your lap with her plump Lala butt?
>I think T5 was hard before a nerf in like 2.1? It may have just been broken, I don't really remember.
The only major "nerf" to T5 was them changing how Twisters worked and that could be argued to be more of a bugfix.
>Maybe, like I said I've never been in there myself so there's a good chance that I'm talking out of my ass.
That's fine and all, but stop and consider how people generally didn't complain about T5 or T9 at all, yet A3S being too hard is basically the only topic in regards to endgame difficulty at this point.
Odin hard doesn't exist, only Urth's Fount.
Too bad SE can't do decent RNG. There's no middle ground, it's either you're good to go or you're fucking dead and the shitty ping doesn't help. If you get the short end of the stick its more or less a wipe, where's the skill in that? It's just a nuisance nothing more. At least dive bombs were fair.
With memorisation you have at least a reliable middle ground. Thordan was a good mix of random tower, charge and memorisation mechanics as the overall positive player reaction shows.
Just spoon with a sack of potatoes you fucking degenerate
Female elezen tank probably. All 3 of those things work against one another. Plus I'm on an RP server which means
>elezen are rare because miqote lalafell
>tanks are naturally rare
>RP server so everyone wants their character to make sense, most tanks are male roe or hyur
But that was how I started.
I wish there was an Odin ex, or if Odin at least got expanded upon...hopefully someday. Though, desu senpai, Urths fount is already pretty intensive. Not hard, just kinda demands alot of attention to the degree of a regular ex
I hate seeing female roes (and to some extent male cats as well). It's gross, girls should be girly and guys should be manly.
Sexual dimorphism is a thing for a reason. That's why the 'cute' female races are so popular after all.
A3S ain't exactly a walk in the park but I can't help but blame some of the people. I don't believe that all those statics have fallen apart simply because the fight was too hard.
Drama queens and players with short attention spans throw a hissy fit and tear their group apart because they don't get the kill after 3 or 4 weeks while having no determination or discipline is something I have seen A LOT.
Also many people raid only 1 or 2 times per week. That's a joke, if you want to make progress you want to raid at least 3 times if not more.
If someones group can't do that they should be honest about it, admit defeat and wait for echo. Nothing wrong with that. Even though I don't like the random mechanics in the first phases I think the turn is fine and totally doable with a focused and calm group.
I'm kinda tempted to make one of these desu, female Lalas look too adorable in plate amor, and as for the Roe WHM, I also like how odd it would look for such a big character to be a caster, and a healer at that.
It is already too hard for DF, I want to farm the set, but it's a heal check and people that play healers are usually fucking stupid.
>better spam CURE even after you tell them to medica
I guess so. I'd like to think some of that complaining comes from it not even being the last fight but I dunno. If A3S was the last fight I feel like there wouldn't be quite as much disdain for it, but the people who are struggling on it know in the back of their minds that A3S is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. A4S seems to be on a whole other level of bullshit.
I got like 5 roe healers in my FC.
You look pretty noble, its nice.
I don't want to hug a lalafell, I want to be a lalafell and get hugs from big girls.
Elezen girls are probably the purest and least whorish women in Eorzea.
Too bad there aren't any or they're taken.
There are only two cute Elezen girls in the game.
I'm trying to find the pic of the DRK AuRa with the horribly cringe worthy macros. If anyone can find it before me that'd be fantastic
Kinda miss my elezen but I missed my roegadyn more
I played that shit at fanfest where we were in I90, the fight had extra mechanics and the lockout was 15 minutes and then you had to leave and requeue at the booths. (basically 2-3 pulls)
We beat it first try, so did many others. It's not a hard fight unless, as you said, your whm does not know what medica is. There is no reason people arent clearing.
Got a cool shirt from it though.
I never meant to imply that A3S is objectively too hard. In fact, I think it's perfect for what it's supposed to be, since it's just a balls-to-the-wall hard fight that even genuinely skilled and professional groups will find challenging, which is what Savage content is supposed to be.
The reason it's considered "too hard" currently is because it takes the place of a theoretical midcore version of A3 that doesn't exist. It's a fight that was never meant to be challenged by the majority of players, like Second Coil Savage, but it IS being challenged by them because there's nothing else to do for them.
Even so I still want it, only chest, legs and feet left.
Don't want the fate armor because it is all in one, will get barding next time I see it, next year probably.
>after 1 and half hoursfinally get 4 or 5 gatherers together to go to diadem to fish
>weather is shit nothing bites
A1S is one of my favourite designed fights from an overall standpoint. As a start of tier fight it was perfect.
>Boss looks like a badass, has big flashy attacks
>When you die it's usually very evident how you died, all the mechanics are very clear and obvious
>Dragging alarums to lasers is a very basic mechanical test
>There's still a bit of randomness from things like photon spazer targeting that can surprise you
No macros but equally cringe worthy.
Brought to you by the Odin server.
I've played with a couple of MRoe healers. They can actually look pretty fucking sophisticated, and while it's an odd sight, it's kinda cool actually. It's like your party has like the requisite JRPG old guy supporting them.
This is the bigger issue. If they want the raids to be truly savage levels there needs to be a hard mode to keep the midcore folks at bay.
Though really, according to what the devs have said A3 and 4 weren't supposed to be that hard anyway.
