Post your single most biggest favorite video game song ever.
Good taste all around in this thread
That's not really a "video game song", unless this was all part of Bach's elaborate keikaku.
this one was written by yasunori mitsuda (composition)
I like it because you can listen to it for hours at a time. It's just a little annoying that I have to go back to the tab every 90 seconds and restart it
Yeah OP, my favorite piece of video game music came from Asura's Wrath, and never existed before that. Here's a live performance taken a full two years before the release.
Take this, my friend
I donno why you guys are so triggered. If it's in a video game, it's a video game song. The same way Scrooge McDuck is the richest video game character even though he was a comic character first
Pretty fucking sad. You kill millions and millions of Brothers,Husbands,Sons and Fathers in your lust for glory and power and when this plays in the credits about a widowed wife you fell pretty guilty and sad
This is probably the best snow level music:
Out of all the Megman themes it sticks with me.
I don't know what happened with X6's theme though.
>Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.
I don't know if any Playstation exclusive games have been released on XBLA or Nintendo. Though that does leave MM64 high and dry, Capcom's gotta stagnate those releases otherwise who'll buy Battle Chip challenge?
This music in this game is amazing, but those are just some of my favorites.
What I meant was Nintendo has fucking terrible support for their digital libraries. Games are arbitrarily locked to either console or 3ds, and they release next to nothing, on no real schedule. They finally "did" n64 games like 6 months ago, and have only added like 7 games total, and they're all total gimmies. Mario 64, OoT, etc. They haven't even Mario parties or Mario kart 64, you know, the fun multiplayer games that would benefit from being bumped up to the newer platform.
It can't be that hard when there's a fucking hundred n64 games on the Wii mode. And the fact that they don't have a dedicated group working on regular VC releases is equally bullshit.
Man C&C music brings me back so far into my childhood.
I remember not being able to figure out what the giant, slow moving, huge HP tank thing was for. I could run over enemy troopers with it, so that's what I did. Slowly. I hated when they moved out of the way.
I managed to make it fairly far without ever learning I could deploy it.
