/his/ here. Whats the best World War II video game? Whats the best WW1 vidya, if any even exist?
/biz/ here. Sounds like you're just mad because if you ever go to a different board than your home board and you introduce yourself, you're forced to say "/v/ here" and no one will give you a serious response since you're from /v/, the meme board of 4chan.
>all those dead americans cut down by german maschinengewheren
makes my dick hard errytime
he could just say he's interested in historically accurate ww2 games
/his/ is full of nigger lovers and kike sympathizers so I don't even get why anyone would like to associate themselves with them
>suscribing to the concept of "home boards"
You might want to consider ending your life.
What wasn't so funny was that the americans won, when the people they were actually killing on that beach weren't evil, squity-eyed nazimonsters.
They were, cold, starved, kids, who'd all rather have been at home with what little remained of their families.
>it's a WW2 video game
>it takes place before 1941
Vicky 2 ends in 1936 if i remember correctly and has nothing to do with WW2.
On the other hand the fact that nobody mentioned Hidden and Dangerous 2 year shows that /v/ is really full of plebs.
Well according to wikipedia
> World War I(WWIorWW1), also known as theFirst World War, or theGreat War, was aglobal warcentred in Europe that began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918.
I literally just posted this game and got a message saying duplicate file because of your post..
But yeah I remember this being great, looks to have aged quite badly graphics wise, but still it had great atmosphere.
Also the first game was very good, but has probably aged even worse.
Fair point, I've never really thought of Vicky as a WW1 game either though because 'World War 1' never really happens in game.
My nigger. I played it through last year, the gameplay is still A+ and the worst thing about the graphics is there's no widescreen option.
Men of war, its a great game but the learning curve is kinda high because the game requires some micromanaging skills, but when you learn the game its one of the best WW2 games ever.
Depends on what you want. The best strategic wargame is the War in the East/West games. Alternatively there is War in the Pacific, which does every day in the war.
For shooters it's really CoD2, Brothers in Arms and now Red Orchestra 2. I personally don't like the twitch shooting you can do in RO2 but it's all i've got these days.
PR WW2 is fucking great but they fucked the Omaha Beach map up, now the US can barely even get on the beach, had a match in which the Germans got about 400 kills while the US only had 100. Carentan is good though. Shame they only do short tests.
Picked up pic related for 1.67$ during the steam winter sale
>bretty dam gud
War of Rights is being made but honestly doesn't look very promising, I doubt a game will ever capture the glory of a musket volley, people will just fucking run off like its codshit
>killed by frozen starving kids that where not all focused
>well what a shit time to be an american invader
It's a mod team making a full game, last I remember they were going full autism on the ranks so I wouldn't expect much from it. You'd need a lot of people to do proper musket volleys anyway, it was never a good idea back in mount and musket or napoleonic wars to form even two rank lines.
There's also Battle Cry of Freedom too. Best to keep an eye on both.
would you enjoy a scifi Great War game?
I imagine going "over the top" would have you jetting across the barren landscape in a power suit at high speeds, dodging artillery and gunfire
the Multiplayer would blend RTS elements, buying and positioning gun bunkers, artillery guns, digging new trenches and so on.
I have a huge boner for games where you can build massive defenses, and then smash through them with skill and power
Medal of Honor series
Call of Duty series
Hidden and Dangerous 1 and 2
Desert Rats vs Afrika Korps
Sudden Strike 1 and 2
Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2
The Great Escape
Prisoner of War
And those are just the ones I can see on my shelf. I got even more WW2 games behind them.
Don't mind me, just posting the best WW2 battle scene.
Shit's disorganized as fuck. But damn I just got one hell of a nostalgia rush. Had forgot I owned a lot of those games.
God I hate how PC games don't have an orderly box art. They just look ugly stacked alongside each other on a shelf when compared to cases for console games which have way more unity.
I'm suing you. Imperial Guard is not a copyrightable name and has been used by historical armies for centuries, such as Napoleons Imperial Guard.
Please use the coyprighted name of Astra Millitarium. Thank you.
I always wanted to buy some w40k minatures, but the combination of me being from eastern europe and GW prices makes this an unattainable goal.
I just fucking can't justify blowing so much money, jesus christ why is this shit so expensive.
Most of my collection is from ebay and sellers.
Check out /tg/, they sometimes has info up from a seller in china, who make recasts and sell them for a fraction of the official prices.
Forgotten Hope/Forgotten Hope 2... Its a shame nobody seems to play these anymore, most complete WW2 experience if you ask me. Red Orchestra is a good second.
>WW2 is a fucking overused and overdone
Oh fuck off. Just because there were hundred game remakes of saving private ryan doesn't mean it's overdone.
We need more multiplayer eastern front games, preferably with more content and realism than fucking RO2.
vicky 2 is barely a war game
if you want a war grand strat game hearts of iron is the only option
do you actually play grant strat do you just try to fit in on /v/ like an underage faggot?
>1943 was 73 years ago
why cant we just have a good ol fashioned war again
guys pls help me remebr a game from playstation days i think its this one >>323160443 but unsure. not sure if it was MOH or COD but in between missions there was cutscenes that would brief you on your next mission, it looked liked film reel from the "office of naval intelligence" or something, any way i think in that game there was an "infiltrate the nazi castle" mission and i loved it as a kid, wish i could replay it lol
