>Started Ori earlier today
>About 4 hours in and my death count is already at 130
This game is a lot trickery than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong I didn't expect a cake walk, but I didn't expect quite this much of a challenge.
>Die to some stupid trial and error bullshit
>Last save was 20 minutes ago
I've learnt to save pretty often now.
>It's not that tough. Deaths don't really matter since you most likely saved 10 feet away from where you died.
It's tough if you're a retard like me and didn't save enough.
The game is pretty hard but pretty much encourages you to save scum. Just do that and you've won half the battle
>What's tough is getting the Immortal achievement (zero death run)
I'm going to need a better controller for that. I played through the game twice so far, using an Xbox 360 controller. Fuck that d-pad.
>People in ironically still use the d-pad for 2D games
Are you also so stupid you can't move left or right with the damn left stick? I play KI with sticks as well. Shit is way more comfortable than the d-pad.
>Also there nothing really even wrong with the Xbones d-pad
How would I know what's wrong with the XBone's d-pad? I clearly stated that I used a 360 controller and they have the worst d-pads I've ever used.
Well you should have used a different controller, retard. Or, ya know, just used the left stick on the 360 controller, which would have been the sensible thing to do in the first place.
I heard this but I haven't finished it yet. Is there any point in the game when you can't backtrack to collect stuff you missed? I heard this also but so far it seems you can still go back to previous areas no problems.
There are two or three areas which you won't be able to return to after certain events. So keep multiple save files if you're going for a 100% run on your first try and want to make sure that you won't miss anything.
I want to play this game so much, but those fucking developers are cock blocking me for months on end with that stupid Definitive Edition they are releasing god knows when
I really value a good experience, so I'm willing to wait for the best version but jesus christ hurry the fuck up already with that cash grab
>that stupid Definitive Edition they are releasing god knows
But they said owners of the original would get a major discount? Just play it now. Who knows, maybe the definitive version will be worse.
>this much of a challenge
Nigger what? I died quite a number of times, but the game is not getting more challenging because of it, since 95% of the death don't actually punish you in any way, other than setting you back a few seconds. Arguably the hardest part of the game is the last run, since you're expected to perform for more than a minute.
