Handling your spaceships will feel ridiculously awkward at first but everything else is more or less fine. It's like how Mass Effect should have gone after the first one. Major shit is coming and you have to gather resources to not die.

Bioware basically ripped this game off with Mass Effect.

It's basically that old arcade game space wars, but expanded into a free roaming, resource gathering, space adventure. Pretty much perfect.

This, if any of you play this you'll notice a ton of similarities immediately. They heavily sourced this game to come up with mass effect's story, at least in part 1, before they forgot what they were doing and just made some bullshit up.

on pluto there is a spathi ship that, if you talk to him right, will join you. It is by far the most powerful ship in the game next to maybe the utwig ships... maybe. Once you get him on your side the rest of the game is down hill.
