Japanese games are usually less buggy and have tighter controls/better programming. They are also better at 2D gaming centric genres like fighters and arcade games.

I don't like most weeb games. Most are just fan service garbage with shit gameplay. If the game actually has good gameplay i'll play it but those are few and far these days. The nep games are the biggest offender, just pure shit in every aspect. They could have been good but they just went for the lowest and pandered to weebs damn shame.
