My vote is
awwwwww poor itty biddy babby is hurting in his booty wooty because a mean ol' song is being mean to manly men awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Crawl Out Through the Fallout does fucking suck though.
As is the entire radio channel, >hey this is travis from r9k
not that the other 2 are any better
"nothing new to report" "nothing new to report" "nothing new to report" "nothing new to report" "nothing new to report" "nothing new to report" "nothing new to report"
>ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69
ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69
>ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69
ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69 ROCKET 69
I was exaggerating, but honestly they ripped WAY too many songs from 3, and even took the Nat King Cole song from New Vegas. There's a shit ton of music to work with from that era. Bethesda is just lazy as hell.
Oh wait, what else is new?
I get pissed when end of the world comes on, because every time it does I wanna enjoy it but something always comes around when I'm enjoying it, but everyone leaves me alone when 60 minute man comes on.
>defending that extreme laziness
Well shit anon. That's so logical. Why didn't Obsidian do the same thing with New Vegas?
Wait, because they weren't lazy about it.
If I wanted to hear the music from 3 I'd play 3. I bought 4 expecting at least half the soundtrack to not be songs I heard a million times playing Fallout 3.
New Vegas is west coast. Fallout 3 and 4 are east coast. It makes sense that they would have similar music.
but you're right, new Vegas had new and refreshing music that fitted the theme of the game
It feels like they picked the soundtrack off of the titles/lyrics of songs that match with an "apocalypse" theme.
>end of the world
>civilization (though this was in 3)
>atom bomb baby
>it's all over but the crying
>crawl out through the fallout
>I don't want to set the world on fire
>orange colored sky
>end of the world
I'm not saying they're all bad songs but Bethesda's rampant meme'ing is shoved in my face whenever I hear them.
There's just too many songs about radiation, nuclear things in general, war and the apocalypse. Like it's just not believable, am I seriously meant to think life is SO ironic that only songs with those themes would survive
With 12 taken directly from Fallout 3. Butcher Pete pt. 2 is the same song so that doesn't count for either. 1 taken from New Vegas. 23 other songs where maybe 3 of them are tolerable.
Don't even tell me you're including the classical music because nobody gives a fuck about that.
Name me 4 good songs that weren't ripped from Fallout 3.
I don't have a problem with the classical channel. I quite enjoy classical music actually. I just don't really care what songs are on it. I'd probably listen to it just to avoid the shitty Diamond City Radio even if it was the same 2 songs on repeat.
Patrician song coming through
The classical station made it really feel apocalyptic and depressing at times, especially in once instance when I was trapped in the middle of a building full of super mutants with barely any healing items and meme doge was down in a hallway needing a stimpack. Survival melee with a shit build was a crazy first run.
I was just linked to the wiki.
If you're gonna tell me you liked EVERY song in Fallout 4 your taste in music is appalling.
Sort of like I was told how I have no taste?
Pretty sure that's the same difference.
>Watching wife get shot did nothing
>Holotape did nothing
>End of the World comes on the radio for the first time
>Hits me like a truck and I actually feel like I can enjoy roleplaying in this game for three minutes
On topic, I actually fucking HATE Uranium Fever
Because it actually made me feel something.
The duality of the song's meaning, not just referring to the actual apocalypse but going along with the song's intentional meaning of using the metaphor of an apocalypse to stand in for a lost love.
And then you get to the second layer where in context, when applied to the character, the world didn't end when the bombs dropped, it ended when their spouse died. And I felt it deeply.
The game is shallow in many respects, but like I said, one of the reasons I like the song so much is because it gave me a sense of immersion in this barebones, railroading ass badly written dialog buggy mess.
>don't bring back Let's Go Sunning
>add in a new butcher pete track
fucking why bethesda
HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND HACKIN AND WHACKIN
What are you trying to prove to me? I said:
>11 new songs that weren't in either Fallout 3, Fallout NV or the Conelrad Radio mod.
I literally went through that list before I posted and counted them up
that the person replying to a chain of comments is the same anon? that's a reasonable assumption you fucking retard
>has no true argument because what I said isn't falsifiable
argument that you're not the same person? why would I argue that?
>YEAH WELL LEARN TO READ
you should though, that way you won't be embarrassed like this again
And your assumption was wrong, retard, so you immediately got defensive.
Nice job back-pedaling, by the way. We were talking about the music, not me. Or did you just not realize that's what I meant by not falsifiable because your mom drank when she was pregnant?
>calling someone a retard is being defensive
>le high school insults
I was joking before about you being a child but now it's obvious you're underageb&. Consider yourself exposed and BTFO, better luck next time :)
The Wanderer and some of the classical music I like, the rest is pretty trash. Ambient soundtrack was pretty good though so I usually don't listen to the radio at all.
Both of you are complete retards for trying to argue on /v/
>only one result listing multiple songs
The Andrews Sisters were the best.
Who else eventually turned the radio off?
I really liked a few, End of the World and Atom Bomb Baby in particular, but it wasn't worth hearing that once every two hours because it meant sitting through non-stop:
>IT'S A MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
>WORRY WORRY WORRY WOE IS MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
After about 12 hours I was sick of pretty much everything though. Is there any reason to keep going after the main storyline is complete? Even killing the institute boiled down to raiding the same buildings for an item at the end and now that that's done there only seems to be settlements left to bother with.
And what does claiming settlements for the Brotherhood do? This isn't Mount & Blade, nobody's fighting. If I ignore those quests or do every single one will there be a difference. Fuck the whole game feels so disgustingly lazy.
It's still better than "Magazine?! Wot happen?"
"People who dun realize bung you with automobiles"...
Let's go sunnin', I'm moving out, Johnny Guitar, Big iron. These were good songs.
Even Johnny Guitar. Stop implying otherwise, it's the shit programming's fault it came on so many damn times.
FLASH BAM ALAKAZAM! hits me right in the feels. it's the perfect feeling of being in love bro's. you'll get there. also the 2nd contender for best song after end of the world and i dont expect it to make it to anyones worst list.
The song "Wanderer" is easily the absolute worst by far. Seriously, the guys voice is nasaly, the song is repetitive, and the lyrics are fucking retarded. It doesn't fit the time period, as it sounds much more late 60s than 50s, and the only reason it's in the fucking game is because the word wanderer is repeated 24,000 times. Literally the 1960s equivalent of "yo nigga fuck mad bitches suck muh dick bitch nigga" In conclusion "around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around around"
Did Johnny Guitar ACTUALLY come on more than the others? I just thought it was a placebo, as in somebody pointed out it was on a lot baselessly to the point everybody starting noticing when it was on and starting thinking it was on more
Obsidian added some sort of magical programming that recognizes whether you liked the song or not the first time it plays. If the game senses that you liked Johnny Guitar, it will almost never play it but if you dislike the song, the game will give it to you constantly.
What are you talking about? Civilization is satire, explaining how "civilized" people who want others to become "civilized" like themselves are very narrow-minded. It's showing that "civilization" is no better than being a "savage," just a different perspective. In fact, this song is suggesting it may even be worse, and far more hypocritical. It was honestly way ahead of its time.
Nah he's actually a fucking pussy afraid of commitment who has to run away from his feelings cause he knows what a faggot he is
>Getting a girls name tatted on your chest
>Not being a pussy beta cuck faggot with a shit annoying faggot fuck with with no musical talent
WE FOUND OUT
Really though, the only song I DISLIKE is end of the world. NV had a better radio regardless.
"Worry worry worry, should I hold her so tight?
Worry worry worry, am I kissing her right?
She said, "Joe, it's you I'll marry."
I'm not Joe, my name is Harry!
Worry, worry, worry, woe is me. "
