Can one of you DS2 gods come and carry me through iron passage real quick? The problem is I'm completely spec'd for an Ultra Great sword build and if you're not ranged this place absolutely fucks you.
It's not so much the smelter demon that's hard, it's the three sets of mobs leading up to it that I can't get by. Worst part is i'm +5 full Forlorn set, +10 tower shield and +10 UGS.
Also fuck it, general Dark Souls 2 thread.
I've actually been trying that, I end up having to swap into my magic defense before I enter the mist and get fucked.
PC, just sitting by the bonfire.
Anon pls, UGS is fun.
For PvP you mean? You should never get hit or hit anyone with it. Ever. Period. Infinite rolling with fucktons of ADP won't let any big weapon be good, ever. Maybe, MAYBE if you put a rapier or a katana in one hand and sometimes throw attacks with it, THEN you can actually hit someone.
Dark Souls 2 fucks you over for using big weapons the most, because that game has no poise even if it says it does. There's no PvE or PvP reason to use any big weapon.
what is your soul memory fampai
might be able to help you out
depends how long your willing to wait
>has an animation that can block parry two attacks
>a range twice as long as the regular UGS
>you should never get hit with it
>it's not op I swear
I have 1072722 soul memory, should be in range with the small sign soapstone + name engraved ring iirc
>i'm also Bell covenant.
no effect on coop
this characters name is quick gunther
you cant set signs by the bonfire, go down to that little area with the statues
You're on an interlinked database full of the entirety of the annals of human history and instead of using the search engine specifically designed to make using it a breeze, you're asking some nice anons who are discussing a video game to take time out of their day to tell you instead of finding out yourself. Learn to use the tools at your disposal or the human race won't be able to advance as a whole.
god I fucking hate the run to the boss
>boss isn't that hard actually
>keep thinking about not fucking up in the boss because I don't ever want to run through the level again
>end up dying every time
>subsequent runs get even worse every time
I love that they fixed all the enemy placements in SotFS but it's too bad they didn't fix some of the bullshit placements in the dlcs
It's extremely easy to run right to the boss with the only damage you take is from falling if you mess up the third drop and you can also safely apply whatever buffs you want there before going to the fog gate.
