Twilight Princess was a good game.

Gods what a time to be alive that was.

Triple A single player games, Triple A local multiplayer games. No online for consoles. No DLC possible. The days were good. Half Life was out on PC. Zelda and Mario on 64. Metal Gear Solid on playstation. Pokemon on the handheld fronts.

Sad that those days are gone forever. Not just playing this game when it came out, but actually having a life worth living at the time. A life with hope and wonder, now it's just a husk of what it used to be. Still, playing this game every few years still gives me that feeling I had when I was a kid if only for a moment.

Nostalgic as fuck. Felt fun as fuck back when I first played it, and I can still appreciate it today even though it hasn't aged that well

There are legitimate things to criticize and some people may not like it these days, but OoT is overall one of the most important video games of all time

OoT is the #1 most over-rated game in the book, for me. Followed by FF7 and LttP. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but it's definitely hugely over-rated.

3DS is better overall but N64 honestly has better lighting at some parts for atmosphere and such. But 3DS is the better experience overall because you can see shit better at some points and the game runs 30fps instead of like 20fps.

Not even a framerate person, but I think I remember reading in Iwata Asks about OoT's framerate being all over the fucking place. As much of a classic as it is, it was really just haphazardly slapped together
