Reasons for hating Advance 3 usually involve the hub world, the level design (especially enemy placement) and tag mechanic. IMO without the hub world it'd be the best of the trilogy. I feel hub worlds work best when the game gives you a sense of adventure and exploration (for example, Adventure and Unleashed), but on Advance 3 they just destroyed the pacing and got in the way of the gameplay.

For good reason of course, they're all fucking Top Tier soundtracks, with a few reaching God Tier and several songs hitting Elder God.

Sonic Unleashed has the best OST of any 3D Sonic game. The game itself is very overrated thanks to le wolf being bad becoming a meme. Only issue with the wolf was the combat not having much variety and the repetitive music that played at EVERY encounter and disrupted the god-tier night time music. The wolf gameplay got pretty fun later on when you unlocked more combos and I loved the exp-esque system the game used for him. Wouldn't mind a sequel for it at all.
