Tearaway is a cute game, but not a good platformer. Most of the game is just walk x to hear le funny narrator talk. There isn't any true platforming the last ~2 stages. It's a game that tries to be an "experience" first and a "game" second, and that really hurts the experience.

I don't consider Tearaway a great platformer mechanically. As a whole, it's a fantastic game that thoroughly explores its unique paper theme as a platformer. A lot of it just works very well together.

Was kind of starving for 3D platformers, so I picked up The Last Tinker because I heard it was a colourful 3D collectathon platformer, but fuck me I was not prepared for it.
