>Run old server
>Memories start coming back
>All those good times with friends
W-What happened /v/?
Community went to shit, Notch saw the music and fled while he still could, the game is now in slow decline as Dinnerbone and Lex take vanilla and modded Minecraft further and further apart from one another and everyone and their mother makes MC videos until people finally get sick of it.
It's bread and circuses man, and it'll all come crashing down.
Man o' man though, I miss older Minecraft.
>Implying only underage kids used to play minecraft
And you think mlp is for kids right?
>There are now people playing MC that are younger than the game itself.
Though more than the toddlers playing runing it was the manchildren who decided the game would be all about them and kept asking Notch to suck their cocks. Notch was a lazy faggot yes, but those people sucked what little motivation he had.
>Nothing wrong with minecraft
>Alpha and beta days were the best
>Thinking word filters do shit
How new are you?
2004 here who totally missed MC cause' /a/. Was it like Roblox?
It was like Lego Universe, only not shit. Then it became shit. Or maybe it was always shit and it only seemed less shit because there was nothing better at the time and Robux (which in hindsight isn't like MC much at all) left a sour taste in its mouth when the devs went full jew.
Whatever the case, I'm hoping that Lego Worlds eventually ends up overcoming it, but my hope is steadily fading.
You missed something good (but how? Surely you must have clicked at least one of those annoying videos on Yewtoob out of curiosity), but there's nothing to go to now. Modern Minecraft is but a husk of what it once was.
I actually used to play single player minecraft a lot back in the day. I used to do the glitch where you put minecarts on separate tracks to boost the main one forward, before there was any way to propel them.
Then I played with friends a lot, we had mods, 4craft happened, and it just eventually became such a chore to do anything in-game that I stopped playing.
