>mfw there will never be a rpg sci-fi game with humans as antagonists, and an alien species fighting for their independence and survival from impending dooms
Why don't this ever be done?
>MC is an ayy who's only emotion is the desire to kill
>people generally liked it
>game is released, starring various alien races
>early on, a massive white spaceship with prominent angular protrusions on the side appears
>upon boarding it, find a chamber filled with hundreds of thousands of crate-sized blue crystals
>one of them comes out, starts floating, and approaches the player
>emoticon-like face appears on its side
>"Greetings! My name is [Insert Name Here]. We come in peace."
>blue cube reveals that it belongs to a race of sentient machines that can communicate with all other members of the species through a high-tech communication system, essentially making them a hivemind
>while they were all originally organic, rapid changes in their climate led them to digitize themselves in order to survive
>used their new-found boundless energy to invent space-travel and leave their home planet on several hundred spaceships
>player asks what their race is called
We call ourselves Humans. We come from the planet Earth.
Because for some reason we want to think of ourselves as the underdogs. Realistically any species, including us, would probably be scared of one another and cause conflict anyway.
