is anyone hyped? will it be worth the shekels?
Cautiously optimistic because a /k/ommando that got his hands on the alpha. He had huge praise for the gun customization having so many options and having weird obscure sights. We'll see.
I'm feel you, I have not seen a lot of the game, it might be great or it might suck
I'm interested in how the multiplayer aspect works where you randomly connect with other people
yep, ready for beta, already played the alpha 20+ hours. with the exception of dark souls 3, division is the game I'm most looking forward to. don't pre-order tho, things can still go to shit.
I played the alpha and it bored me. Its content just doesn't feel like it has any substance to it.
I thought the same thing about Rainbow Six Siege, though, and other people suck its dick.
If you want access into the beta, you can either do this week's Humble Bundle, or you can preorder on amazon, get your code, then cancel your preorder. You aren't charged until the game gets shipped, so it's no hassle.
Y'all still trust Ubisoft and getting this Day 1?
I can't relate.
It's ubisoft right? Itl probably be fun in the worst way. The same way people find assassins creed or far cry "fun" I foresee high 8s low 9s and will sell for like 30 bucks in its opening week on g2a so il piss my hard earned money away on it and probably like it because I have pleb taste
>Think of a great idea, premise or setting
>Make it 3rd person
>Make a really promising E3 video
>Slap on story about having to find and kill someone or destroy a spear of destiny type of thing
>Add towers you have to climb for achievements
>Flags/emblems to collect in game world
>Simple combat system
>Downgrade the fuck out of everything
>No bug polishing
>Review embargo until day of release
>Game is shit
>Pretend nothing happened and repeat the cycle
Why are Ubisoft threads even allowed
While the first "gameplay" demo they showed waay back when looked great and fun as hell, we all know it was just a bullshot, and ubisoft will find a way to fuck the whole thing up, guaranteed.
The leaked video from the Xbox One Alpha looked really immersive, so much detail put into the world. The heavy snow and rain weather also looked comfy as fuck. I'm looking forward to playing the beta.
So early on it had some survival elements, or seemed like it, by him looting water and food. Is that still the case or do you just go in for equipment and not give a shit about anything else?
