>watch the new gameplay
>looks fucking great
>look up release date
>no PS4 version
So do they want their game to sell like shit?
Put it on PS4 you fucking morons.
It sold 3 million on PC and 1.2 million on all consoles combined. So I guess they're doing fine.
Plus it's the only PC exclusive from an AAA dev this year, meaning it will be the best game this year. Leave it the fuck alone. I like playing console games, but this clearly isn't one of the, and if it does well we might even see more RTS/tactical games coming out from major publishers.
>Fellow mustards bragging about exclusives
This is why we can't have nice things, guys. Exclusives suck for them too.
>tactical grid and turn based combat
>100% of the gameplay is clicking on spaces for your guys to move to and navigating menus
>series has a long history of being only on PC
>actually wonder why this one is pc only
Not if you actually consider "shitty Dell laptop with intel 4000 graphics my mommy bought me" a toaster.
Toasters are just older PCs. You'll still need a GPU that was high-end back in the day. I think GTX 770 is recommended.
Because it takes little effort to implement and lets players lounge. If you're really a PC gamer you should understand the benefits of choice. If you're older than 16 you should've already played plenty of turn based tactical games with a pad.
firaxis is a PC developper, it will be ported to consoles eventually like EU, no doubt.
And I dont really understand people bitching about no gamepad support.
It will probably be supported at some point like EU, too.
NO HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO US
BOYCOTT ANYONE NOT #4THEGAMERS
They'll almost definitely port it to PS4, maybe with some GOTY extras. If you're lucky it might even get mod support like what Fallout 4 is getting.
It'll most likely come out on consoles eventually, but PC is clearly the bigger platform for them and they want to spend time on stuff like mod support rather than porting it. It makes sense given that Long War gave a pretty good boost to Xcom's popularity and that was done without any proper modding support at al.
>implying CoD fans would play a strategy game
I dunno, I never played with a controller, but given the turn based nature of the gameplay I don't se why they couldn't fi d a way to map all the necessary commands to a controller. It's not like civ or grand strategy where you're constantly needing to open menus to look at different information.
>le false flagging PCancer thread
Nobody cares about this shit. Nier: Automata and Ni-OH are coming.
I thought it ran alright on PS3, save for the rather lengthy load times. But I bought it on PC after playing the PS3 PS+ version, so I guess that says something.
With the amount of new commands, they don't even fit on a hotbar any more, it'll be unwieldy as fuck on console.
Why would someone draw that? Its not even particularly bad art just how do your fetishes get that out of hand? Furfags and footfags will forever be a mystery to me. I'm not letting that stop me from playing an enjoyable game though.
UT3 PS3 supported mods, and you could -technically- inject mods into a bunch of games with little effort over the PC version, it's just the fact the game isn't left open to you that stands in the way.
Fuck that! Did you play the ps3 port?! It was fucking insulting how much lag came about from simple movement. And random crashes by having more than 1 explosion occur in a turn. And the graphics fucking sucked so hard.
>only PC exclusive from an AAA dev this year
>meaning it will be the best game this year
I played it for about 3 minutes with a controller, then promptly swapped to kb+m. It really isn't very controller friendly, though I could see the Steam controller working pretty well if they bother supporting it natively.
>So do they want their game to sell like shit?
This is exactly the problem, console versions sold like shit and they see in as cost prohibiting.
maybe if Xcom2 will sell well they will release it on consoles.
>implying a GOTY or Complete Edition will not be released for Xbox Live and/or PSN by the end of the year
Screenshot this--it is happening.
How about rather than picking the best people for his cabinet he made his cabinet representative of the gender and ethnic demographics of the country. Man, isn't reddit. He's literally tumblr
Classic case of console baby entitlement demanding instant gratification.
Idiot children would forget about this game as soon as the next Far Cry advert comes on tv, while the Xcom series still has replay value and relevance on PC today
Sorry bro but every turnbased tactical game I have played with a pad would have been vastly improved with mouse support, this includes Disgaea, FFTactics, Fire Emblem and so on and so forth.
