Say something positive about Rage.
When the textures worked they were pretty

I enjoyed it at the price point that I paid for it.
It helped replace traditional heating in my room
And I didn't really want to keep that GPU anyway
The Blake Griffin commercials

It's better than FO4.
John Goodman
I didn't play it.
It made me appreciate old id software even more
I enjoyed the first map alot. the second was rushed which of course dtracts from the quality but it's still a decent game.
It's s shame the console thing happened, it would have been alot better. It's still better than most shooters released these days.
Felt great using shotguns because of how satisfying they were to use

60fps animations

There's no Rage2 in production
It fills me with rage.
>>323074012
You can turn it off.
The movement and guns felt nice. The wingsticks were satisfying to use.
Is Rage actually not considered a decent game?
Great gunplay with lots of fun tools to use.
10/10 girls, sadly there's not much interactions with most of them.

something positive about Rage
Some of the guns were interesting and the gunplay was overall satisfying
>>323076640
If it was another studio it would be considered decent but I think coming from id people have a higher expectation

It was really well optimized.

I want to enjoy this show but I watched the first two episodes and I can't get into it. should I give it another shot?
>>323077331
yes, the first episodes are the weakest
>>323074012
Fluid and reactive enemy reactions and movements.
Cozy cities.
It had nice setting and shooting was pretty fun
I learned stuff about textures and compression
>>323077635
>nice setting
Kinda generic imo
>>323077616
>Cozy cities.
Satisfying gunplay
>>323074012
It looks like a decent game from 2008after you mess with config file severely
Wingsticks were rad.
I liked the weapons and combat.

The idea of Fallout meets Mad Max had potential...
>>323079271
you're a little late since Fallout was heavily influenced by Mad Max
>>323074548
this. i enjoyed it a lot for the $5 I paid for it
Despite releasing in 2011, Rage looks dramatically superior graphically to Fallout 4, a game released a full four years later.
>>323074012
The game looks and runs great, plays well, and has satisfying classic shooter combat with good weapon/item/ammo variety. The story is barely there, but the characters and animations are charming. Sure it's derivative and pretty small for an "open world" game, but it felt handcrafted with love to me. I just think people give id way too much credit and had far too high of expectations for it considering all of their previous games were just corridor shooters. Got it for 10 bucks, liked the combat enough to google a Gamefaqs thread where somebody gave away an unused code for the DLC.
It was a good test run for id Tech 5, which did very well in the new Wolfenstein games.

>When the textures worked they were pretty
It's really weird when you think about it: Here we have this game designed as a FIRST PERSON Shooter with an engine optimized to look nice from a distance but terrible up close. I wonder if that's the reason the tacked on driving bits were stretched out to be 80% of the game.
I can't remember why I stopped playing it, I enjoyed it quite a lot. It's a good shooter, cool exploration, Driving/Racing can be a blast...hmmm..guys why do we hate on it all the time again?
>>323074012
its fun
and the animations are fucking toppest notch
just too few guns and too short sadly
also what an anticlimactic end ;_;
>>323079681
That's the power of megatextures.
Shooting was satisfying as fuck.
I had fun while it lasted.
Solid 7/10
>>323080139
you probably quit playing it because it abruptly ends. the shit ending is my only complaint
>>323081160
The funny thing is, it's not even a joke - it's completely accurate. Rage looks dramatically superior to Fallout 4 in everything sans lighting. Pic related is max settings FO4, the textures just look blurry and awful. I'm just absolutely amazed that FO4 sold so well, considering it genuinely looks worse than a 2011 game despite Bethesda having twice the budget of Witcher 3. Absolutely disgraceful.
The sherif had a cool door
>>323080139
If I remember correctly the game had zero replay value. It was cool for that first time through, then there really isn't a point to playing it again.
>>323081457
God dammit, that response was meant for the dude who said "that's the power of megatextures." Ah well, pic related, another gorgeous Rage screenshot.
Steam gave me a refund for it
This was when steam wouldn't give anyone refunds for anything.

They used Snoop Dogg in the game promotion!
