Thought about it. My rig can easily handle it and the price doesn't concern me, but I'm still going to wait a while. With competing systems coming out soon as well, I don't want to back the wrong horse in the race and be stuck with something with no games or support.

The smart thing to do is to let the Oculus burn.
That way retailers will clearance them off for like 100 bucks, and people will modify the Oculus and use the SDK to make porn games.

This is an incredible amount of money to drop on something in the same bin as fake 3D and motion controls.

Even if it's as cool as people expect, it's still not worth getting until more stuff supports it.
