is this a decent PC for games in 2016 just bought it for £450
is my motherboard too hot for idle temp? the rest seems good at 29 degrees
hoping to play shit like xcom 2 total warhammer, dragons dogma
did i do good?
that's actually pretty dope for 450 eurobucks. I'm not sold on the mobo though, might make it hard to upgrade in the future.
You did gud nigga. Look into OCing for your GPU, it makes quite a bit of difference and the 970 overclocks like a champ. Your temps are all fine.
Just get more storage later because that's a shitty HDD you have there with only 250gb. The SSD is great though, but that HDD needs to go.
And upgrade to windows 8.1
Is there anything really awful with Windows 10, or is it just another meme.
Only thing I've heard people talk shit about is the monitoring stuff in it, but I don't care about that since privacy died years ago.
OP can wait for a hard drive. That shit goes on sale like once every 2 weeks on Amazon. I got some Seagate external (inb4 Seagate is bad meme) that has 2 TBs for like 70 bucks.
I would save that CPU money since your GPU will be more of a bottleneck due to the 3.5MEME. I myself am getting the GTX X80 Pascal for delicious VR performance.
thanks for the responses guys but i was hoping to get an answer for the motherboard temp
isnt 40 too high? and the guy said the CPU was overclocked to 4.40 GHz so im worried this will damage the PC
shit has a rad touchpad fan control on the front though put it on auto
Introduces more bugs while not fixing anything. Forced updates. Shit downloading on the background without your permission. It logs everything you type and sends it to microsoft.
It's a piece of fucking trash. Tried it for a week and couldn't stand it.
I already said your temps were fine you mong and that overclock is also fine. You're good, now go learn how to OC your GPU to get anywhere from 10~15% more performance and play games.
dont scare me anon you fuck
i didnt build this PC got it preowned
380x is actually pretty good, really happy with it
Open Slot #1 and tell me if SPD Ext. is set to XMP, otherwise you'll have to enable XMP in the Bios. Your timings should be balanced like pic related.
