Looking at the new shader scaled down/at a distance (as it will appear in game), it really does look hand drawn.

If they take a keyframe-only approach to animation and avoid the uncanny super-smooth interpolation so many 3D games go for, I think it could really end up looking fantastic.

Hopefully they're as responsive to animation style feedback as they were regarding the shaders.

It doesn't look like stained glass though. It doesn't have any texture to it, so it looks exactly like a trashy tattoo. Given it's supposed to be stained glass, adding texture would be such an obvious thing to make it stick out more compared to skin.

That and you can't even see cleavage or make out the shape of her tits, all you get is a sense of them being stupidly big to display the marking on them. Like with how it's designed there's no way that isn't supposed to be fanservice to show some skin, but it's a big fat unshaped lump with no curves shown off or anything.
