For me it was the general optimization for many Nvidia cards at the release I think. I sludged along and got to endgame but even with up to date video cards, if I remember correctly, the game's framerates were abysmal for a very, very long time.

Even at the lowest settings (despite easily blowing past the recommended settings) the framerates made the game purely unplayable in some aspects.

Oh and of course "insert how the grind was too hard" that is going to be rampant through this thread. I had no issues with the difficulty of the end game; I was just peeved that the optimization was so shit.

Really long list of issues, poor optimization, attunement, 40 man raids/pvp, rng rune system, mediocre leveling experience, not enough content for casual players, etc.

too many issues at launch, lack of polish, wrong target audience, performance issues, overall unoriginal leveling experience, endgame content had an infinite amount of bugs (closed beta/NDA tester feedback not being listened to), etc

i'm speaking from when the first 4-5 months of when the game launched, but Carbine just handled everything wrong

if they had waited another year before launching it would have been quite a different story

Does that mean this actually gets harder? I'm a medic and it seems as I can kill just about everything with moderate ease

small, overcrowded maps in a game advertized as"dicovering a new world".
Fast P means you are max level not even half in the story/areas. intrusive nnoying challenges triggering in shitty moment. Bad pvp balance. no real reason to craft except achievements.
ut overall the game being empty after 30 hurs is the main problem.

Like my first thought when booting up Wildstar was "Can I Be A Robot". Then I spent like an hour trying to make him look like a robot despite the stylization making that particularly difficult.
I like how when my stun move isn't ready I can actually do dodge rolling, that's something not a lot of MMOs tend to do because most don't really have a need for it
