the ps4 has like one extra pixel and a few more frames versus xbox. thats the best gaming i3, the 950 reks, and 8gb ram gets you a long way. This is a steal for $460

Which one has exclusives that you find more interesting? Which one do your friends have? Everything else is pretty minor.

Me I wanted to play Forza so I bought a Forzabox. I happen to know a lot of people who also have bones so I sometimes pick up games for it to play with them. Otherwise I still use my PC for everything else.

The Xbox One is the better console right now.

Better exclusives in the likes of Halo 5, Rare Replay, Halo MCC, Titanfall etc. The PS4 has Bloodborne which is fantastic, but the quality drops off badly after that.

Xbox also has backwards compatibility giving you the chance to play 360 games.

The bundle deals are also far far far better value than the PS4, and the online subscription is cheaper.

PS4 is the best choice unless you're like every other xbone boy. Playstation and XBox are both great, don't get me wrong. But playstation is better. You'll have a lot more fun with something that isn't meant to spy on you and be your literal whole entertainment world in one shitty box. This is Microsoft after all. The company that gave us Windows 10.. Which steals camera feeds.. Passwords.. Etc. But, hey.. Even PSN can get knocked out. Anything is shitty. Ps4, again. Better controller. Better looking (imo). I'm a fan boy. Both are good. But in my opinion.. PS4. Have fun with either or. Do research and get what you think is best for you. Sorry for the random spiel.

What is usb controller and things like steam link?

You can just link your pc to a wide screen and use multiple wireless controllers, playing ports that runs in 1080p and constant 60fps.

Connecting a PC to a television in front of the couch and constantly alternating between screen and monitor is a huge pain in the fucking ass and I don't care what accessories you use. With Consoles, it's plug in and play, with PCs, it's connect the HDMI cable into the television, then make sure Steam Big Picture is active so you don't have to use M&K, then have to research which games have controller support, then research which games have controller support that isn't total shit.

Long time PC mustard race here:

Over xmas I gifted a long time friend a $15 vinyl album (Deltron 3030 Event II) and the next day he surprised me with a PS4 because I was the only person to gift him. TL;DR I have a console with a couple of games now.

I missed some titles on the PS3 and I'm interested in playing some games that my mid-high range PC won't run. Currently I have Farcry 4 (pretty decent, more of 3 and Blood Dragon but I enjoyed those games for what they were), Shadow of Mordor (borrowed, repetitive but surprisingly fun), and Dying Light (I was a sucker for Mirror's Edge and Dead Island).

Suggestions on weeb or exclusive games? No Bloodbourne pls, I don't like Souls games. I know the JoJo games are all fanservice but I love the manga so I was considering trying the first game. And the Yakuza series for sure. Also what are some neat things I can do with my PS4? Play pirated movies? How do I into Share function?

Yes and? They're fantastic games, and most are better than literally every exclusive on the PS4 barring Bloodborne. Emulation isn't the same either because you don't have access to the remastered versions, you don't get anything in one package and everything original Xbox and up is difficult as fuck to emulate.

X1 is cheaper in everything (console itself, online sub, games) and has decent exclusives, if you're not a weeb there's no reason to own a nogamestation4. WiiU+PC is still better unless you really want to play halo and gears and/or don't like nintendo games
