The whole point was that even a minority fraction of Geth would have outproduced the Quarians and killed everyone in the long run, even if 99% of them were pacifists.

I was always sympathetic to the Quarians.

The worst thing the modern Quarians did was start the war in ME3 when there was already another war going on.

Geth are just machines. They have no emotions and I wasn't fooled by Legion's attempts at manipulation with that emotional voice he grew in ME3. The geth killed 99% of a race. That's not "self defense", that's slaughtering billions of women, children, and innocent quarians that had nothing to do with the shut down signal that was directed at the geth. Afterwards, they destroyed all ships that attempted to contact them. Even unarmed ships that were doing nothing but asking for peace. And they never paid for any of this. Meanwhile the quarians lived in the shitter for 300 years. I went for the reconciliation option, but if I couldn't get that, I'd opt for the quarians to have their homeworld back.
