There are several missions that are missable, if you go to the mission list it will mark them with a clock icon. (It also marks missions that are exclusive to each other and stuff like that). The first batch of missable quests is pretty obvious and you get to chose when they get missed, so it's not too bad.

The down side to this is that it kind of spoils something very late in the game, though.

Trading is not mandatory, though some NPCs do give items that are hard to find otherwise.

You should keep most materials, but there is an inventory limit, so sell the ones that seem useless if you are near full.

If you are going for completion, when you get to a place called Agniratha late in the game, you might want to look up the material requirements for Colony 6 restoration, as there are some items there that are either missable or really difficult to get else where.

Missable quests exist but the game specifically tells you they are missable when you recieve them.

Yes. Longsword/Dual guns once you unlock both of Nagi's arts.
You can't buy more insurance but you can get salvage tickets out of squad rewards if you join prospectors. The best way to handle insurance is to pass a skell with 1 insurance left down to an AI companion and buy a new one for yourself, since AIs always perfect their escape prompt and will never lose you that last insurance.

Good game but I absolutely despise the music in NLA. Day and night.
Normally I just ignore bad music in games but good fucking god the songs just grind in my ears. I hate them. I can only stand the night one slightly because I picture NWA doing a song for Woodstock.

That's how I did it. You can also try getting a team of 4 skell, disengaging, and just walk over them. They'll keep ragdolling and buy you time, but when I tried, they still got me just shy of 3 minutes.

They're ambiguous about how recovery works too. You can apparently recover from almost any level of injury by being turned off first since they can replace parts. Personally I think everyone must still have their personas somewhere else because 1: non-secret mim designs are not able to function independently and 2: they know about lag but also haven't detected the zero lag that would be present if they were truly occupying their bodies. just finished the Wii Xenoblade, which Operation Rainfall game should I play next, Pandora's Tower or The Last Story?

I did FMJ for a while
ended up using Assault Rifle as my ranged weapons so I could Shadow Strike -> Assault Hammer to do a one-two topple combo by myself.

It's really effective for the story, and did well in the Rexoskell fight that everyone always complains about, but it's not a good enough build for the post game bosses

Some of these sub-quests are fucked up/sad. But then they give me my reward and i'm on my way.

Based on usefulness and not on personality of course. Enhanced Stand seems like the best tanking aura and has saved her ass, and consequently my own, plenty of times. I haven't messed with Yelv, Boze, or Frye much to really see how effective they can or can't be though

L has 2 topples and 2 attribute resistance arts. Most importantly, L has Mind Storm, his greatest asset.
HB has multiple taunts and 4 skill slots. Keep in mind that taunt gives TP to the entire party.
Also, it's generally advised to not give the stupid AI aura skills. Let them save TP for more useful things such as overdrive and such.
