How do I beat this level? My sanity is beginning to break, I'm not sure how many times I can keep doing this, I've lost count of my continues
thats one of the easier ones. wait till you have to fight the fucking sith masters with staves in a confined space.
right click boosts so boost past the first couple enemies you see, when they catch up do some quick turns and slow down then blast them. repeat.
Oh well fuck me, I should do that then! Thanks! I just tried again and killed about 15 swoop riders and they just kept coming and coming until I died, I even swapped bikes twice
But yeah, I didn't even know who I was fighting until after I killed him. Just pathetic.
Jedi Knight thread?
Anyone tried the Dark Forces 2 "remake"? Been wanting to try DF2, but I'm getting the feeling that it's very outdated.
Yeah this is the game alone (I still have it with the big box), I was refering the pack with the expansion.
mouse to steer, left and right to strafe to strafes.
I honestly didn't find it that hard.
The one were you have to kill the mutant rancor while fighting an army of cultists was the hard one
Literally THE easiest level of entire game, so I suspect bait, but let's try anyway.
Use mouse for turning. When you run around, you use it to turn around, so what's the problem about doing the same while on speeder? The level is extra easy, you can one-shot everyone with light saber and don't even need to fight anyone.
I still can't decide myself if this or the one from first mission roster where you need to collect parts is the easiest of them all. I think this one, as it's zero effort, zero stress.
Best mission is the one from second roster, where you are captured and have to fight your way to freedom. Absolutely epic.
It's a canyon. You can either be going:
A) The Right Way
B)The Wrong Way
There isn't much leeway there.
Not OP but I'm playing this game for the first time this week and I just finished that level. I fucking love this game I wish I didn't skip out on star wars games when I was growing up I just assumed a lot of them were trash. I don't know what was wrong with younger me
As overrated as Boba Fett himself. Literally the easiest mission of 3rd stage and one of the easiest in entire game. Just run around, place bombs, block shots for few seconds, end cutscene, done.
Why is Nar Shaddaa a steaming, festering shithole in every single Star Wars game it's featured in? No fucking fun allowed.
They could at least make the levels not a chore to go through.
>both levels are filled to the brim with those three-eyed faggots with thermal detonators and snipers
Dark Forces was the worst though, since there was no manual saves, quick saves, or even checkpoints, just an awful lives system.
You can crash your bike on the mountain to your right, climb it, and skip straight to the end trigger. You would know that if you'd played in Lugormod servers back in the day.
Otherwise, just drive to the end bruh.
I wasn't a really big fan of MotS (Mysteries of the Sith) SP campaign, myself, but a few gameplay additions it added (blaster scope, Force Push power), along with it's excellent multiplayer maps, more than made up for the underwhelming campaign.
The sandworm map where you have to find components to fix your ship freaks me out the most in that game. Literally "The Floor Is Lava: The Mission".
What "remake" is this? Some newer engine? Or just a release that is more compatible with newer O/S?
It's a chase/escape map, you shouldn't have to keep killing them, once you've reached the outpost your contact is at and they get assassinated it's pretty much just a get out of their mission.
>The sandworm map
>use force sense
>see the sandworm hanging out under the sand
I saw a Youtube video with a modded game, but the guy never said what mod it was. I think it's this though: http://www.moddb.com/mods/jedi-knight-enhanced/downloads/jedi-knight-enhanced-10
Was that mission in the middle of the game or in the last part of the game? I forget where the missions are exactly.
>Some guys tomb on Alderaan I think
>The Mutant Rancor chase one
>When you get boarded by an Imperial ship
ah shiiiieeeet niggas it's time
r8 h8 apprci8 you cunts
>They removed First person saber combat
I assume it was because of the ability to get dualsabers or a staff saber, but still it was disappointing that they couldn't find a way to make it work
>there will never be another Jedi Knight game because EA holds the rights
it aint right
Did anyone else bind their force abilities? I remember I had alt for lighting, TAB for grip, Q for push, R for pull, H for healing, B for protection and V for absorb. I also bound keys for taunting, gloating and meditating for maximum fedora. The gameplay was god tier.
I must say, without the cheats I probably wouldn't have played it so much.
>spawn a zillion stormtroopers and a rancor
>spawn cultists and get Luke and Kyle Katarn to fight it out
>spawn a sandworm in the middle of some level and watch the world burn
>playing around with dismemberment and force throwing stormtroopers out of the map
>no enemies left
>usually get slaughtered
Killing in cold blood is what isn't okay. If you had happened to kill Rosh while he was darksided in active combat, nobody would have held it against you.
And had Rosh killed you in cold blood after besting you, especially if you were begging for your life, i doubt Kyle would have been so merciful towards him either.
>want to play this game again
>ill mod it a bit first
>JK3 filefront doesnt exist anymore
>all those mods gone
