An excellent game. Expect to always play a bit longer than you thought, and to do more sidequests than you thought you'd do. "I'll just return this... and this... and this... Oh look this new quest isn't too far away I guess I'll do this."

Real talk-- the first 6 or 7 hours are actually really slow. You'll be struggling for resources of all types and you'll be very underleveled for a lot of stuff. Stick with it.

Its okay to go into story missions a little underleveled because the story missions give you gobs and gobs of XP. If you start the novigrad stuff at reccomended level, you'll be overleveled for a while in terms of story route.

Some bossess are hard. Use your oils. Quen really is overpowered. The trap spell is excellent.
