I recently joined the PC master race.
What are some games I absolutely NEED to have on Steam? I already have TF2 downloaded.
This desu senpai.
Sometimes I wish I had someone who played a similar amount of time to play with on a new world, I don't wanna play with people with 500k hours and will speedrun through the content.
Kerbal space program, euro truck simulator 2, sleeping dogs, need for speed not pursuit, burnout paradise, battlefield 2 (its free now, and has a somewhat active multiplayer), the talos principle, portal 2, postal 2
depends on how much money you have
if you dont have much or want to save money wait until the next sale
if you dont care then grab divinity: original sin
i liked divinity 2 as well but OS seems to be more popular
No one mention Half Life yet? Get portal while your at it. If you like portal try Antichambe
I know that feel
>Start game with friends
>They had the world running for about a day or two before
>They give me a few things and we do some shit
>Have fun but need to go to bed
>Log on next day and they have fucking castles and are in hard mode.
Not OP, I'm playing Half Life 1, it's just me or the WASD sensitivity is fucked up? I mean, those keys move the character too far, it's hard to place the character exactly where I want.
portal 1 and 2 (and buy a friend to play the coop of portal 2 if you dont have one yet)
the talos principle
civ v complete
risk of rain
most of those have really good prices on sale btw
>Using DRM the game
Steam needs to die.
>steam needs to die meme
Is this the new "micro$oft is evil!" meme?
>What are some games I absolutely NEED to have on Steam?
Go with previously suggested games.
But another question is if you won't be shilling on forums instead actually playing games.
I don't know how you want to call that, and I don't care, but pressing WASD move the character much more than it should, so, again, it's hard to place the character exactly where I want when a single press move the character so far.
Or at least that's how it is in my pirated copy
Again, it's just me/copy or it's simply fucked up?
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s are a must have.
The company that made them did kind of go under or some shit, so maybe pirating them is a better option since the guy that would get the money is a asshat.
>He felt in the mustard race meme
Enjoy singleplayer games that are badly optimized for the PC or crippled to make consoles seem better.
Multiplayer gamed that are not esports focused or ASSFAGGOTS die within the first 6 months.
The self delusion in this post, holy shit.
Xcom EU/EW If you awant to play the original that is fine too.
Half life 1 and 2
Skyrim (mod the fuck out of it)
Do the same to New Vegas.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP and SoC (mod it).
Dawn of war 2.
CoC dark corners of the earth.
You may enjoy civ5.
Mount and Blade: Warband is fun as fuck, but might be kinda hard to get into.
Killing Floor is fun as fuck, so is the second one, but that's still early acess.
Red Orchestra 2 is a good multiplayer.
ArmA 3, Company of Heroes, Stalker, Vampire: The masquerade, Deus Ex...
You can also install the "enchanced steam" google extension. That'll tell you the current lowest price for the game on verified resellers and it's historical low and a bunch of other crap. pretty neat.
EpicBundle will also keep track of game deals and bundles and giveaways.
You need Dota 2
Outside STEAM you need LoL and Heroes of the Storm.
Don't forget to buy a million Heartstone packs, most skilled game in the universe.
Don't forget to buy Undertale, truly a new classic and the best game ever and soo good it even beat Ocarina Of Time in Gamefaqs tournament LOL
Also Five Nights at Freddies and Slenderman. Only pussies like Silent Hill anyway.

Doing it wrong already you nigger, there's an entire backlog of classic pc vidya from defunct devs to work through. You should look through genres on a site like mobygames and pirate games of interest before experiencing Steam's approach to mustard gaming.
>you HAVE to do it my way. you HAVE to play everything released up to this point in release order. how else could you possibly uppreciate games as an ART form and join the master race
autism is in full force again
you're 2 days late for the steam winter sale, it's over now so you're gonna have to search every site if you want deals or buy them at full price like a console tard
games I recommend:
-Crysis 1 : to show how videogames have advanced graphically since its release 20 years ago and how consoles are holding us back
-killing floor 1: really great back in the day and even today if you don't mind the old graphics, make sure to have friends
-portal 1 and 2, portal 1 is short as fuck and wouldnt recommend it if it came after 2, but 2 is worth it, however it's important to know the story, also it's pretty memorable
-half life 1 and 2: the father of modern gaming, before the DLC rape of course
-fallout new vegas: best fallout version out there
now i'll recommend the most played by me of course:
-Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
-Saints row: The third
-Payday: The heist
-Assetto corsa (recommended to use a steering wheel, at least a g27)
-Fallout NV and 3
-Black ops 1
Okay well you have to tell us what you have hardware wise.
If you built a decent PC:
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Bioshock Infinite (Some people love this, some people hate it and you don't need a monster rig to play it)
Borderlands 2 (fuck the presequel and 1 is old)
Space Engineers (fuck this game is unoptimized)
The Witcher 3
If you have a shit PC:
Magicka (seriously, most fun I've had on a game in a long time)
LIMBO (short indy puzzler, but very good style)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Terraria (has been mentioned by pretty much everyone)
Bastion was pretty gud
CS:GO can be run on a potato and is the best online shooter on steam.
Psychonauts was pretty fun.
