I especially liked that the game is vague about some stuff and you have to kind of just roll with it while feeling unsure if you're doing right.

Pretty good game. Very confusing, and difficult because of it. Use a guide, there's no shame in it and it actually makes the game better. Hard mode is the easiest mode, Easy mode is shit.

I think it's the benefit of having a serious and consistent setting. There's no kitchen sink fantasy you usually see in JRPGs because it's largely rooted in Norse mythology.

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself man. I'm not saying I figured it out on my first play through my any means, but within about 5 I had it down. There's more than enough clues in the game itself to set you on the path to A ending and outside of that it's just figuring out what you have to do mechanically in the game.
