Whats your thoughts on Valkyrie Profile. Thinking of grabbing a copy.
Where the fuck do you live where you can just go and "grab a copy" of fucking Valkyrie Profile?
Christ I'd have to pay 100+ dollars for it (and I've strongly considered it).
God yes OP. Get it. Get it NOW.
It's an incredible game. One of those games that has "adult appeal".
I especially liked that the game is vague about some stuff and you have to kind of just roll with it while feeling unsure if you're doing right.
also VP2 is the prettiest game on ps2. fight me.
>>The story is bad
>The voice acting is bad
Like always with shitty english dubs
>The character design looks like stuff weeaboos masturbate to
>it becomes grindy and boring
If you're bad at videogame, yes
They just don't make them like they used to.
Pretty good game. Very confusing, and difficult because of it. Use a guide, there's no shame in it and it actually makes the game better. Hard mode is the easiest mode, Easy mode is shit.

I think it's the benefit of having a serious and consistent setting. There's no kitchen sink fantasy you usually see in JRPGs because it's largely rooted in Norse mythology.
Just remember: send NOTHING to Odin. You can make up for it in trained heroes so fuck it. Also, you need a guide and hard difficulty for game's best ending so don't even attempt it at first.
You have to do like 5 things for A ending. All it takes it for you to not be a fucking retard and pay attention if you care to figure it out. I figured it out when I was like 12, didn't have the internet or a strategy guide.
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself man. I'm not saying I figured it out on my first play through my any means, but within about 5 I had it down. There's more than enough clues in the game itself to set you on the path to A ending and outside of that it's just figuring out what you have to do mechanically in the game.
"Oh recruiting Lucian lowers this seal rating thing. So does seeing Brahms and going to that meadow. I wonder what that's about. Oh so does getting mystina and doing lezard's castle. They're all in the opening fmv there has to be something this does"
