So apparently a new Homeworld game is releasing in two weeks.
Homeworld. It's an RTS that was popular a decade or so ago before the medium went to shit.
>Get homeworld remake
>Learn HM1 has broken formations
Guess I'll play through the original version it came with since Gearbox can't fix things. Wanted to enjoy the better graphics, but guess that's out the window
Formations, or the lack thereof, coupled with the nature of how HW 2 handles hit calculations are the main reason why the game devolved into a bit of a boring rush towards capital ships which basically obsolete any and all smaller ships.
Homeworld remastered runs on the HW2 engine and thus inherited these issues.
new patch may fix it
I am excited for a new homeworld game
What a vague fucking post. Are they fixing them for SP and MP or not? I still have yet to play the single player all the way and will wait for a fix unless they're not going to
They are ripping out the hw2 movement code and putting a new one in along with other shit. The patch is coming most likely this month so just wait
DUNE simulator is perfect for me, will get it if the gameplay is fun
