I personally thought FFXIV's intro was a breath of fresh air in how you're slowly introduced to the world by finding your way around your starter city-state and talking to people. The problem with Spoony's FF reviews is that regardless of the quality of the games, he is just not as interested on them as he was with FF8. When you watched the FF8 review, you felt like the game physically hurt him or something, he had something to say and want it to get it out there when most people just worship the game cuz "lol FF", but with FFX and specially with FFXIII, you get the feeling that he just doesn't care. The way he spent tons of the FFXIII bitching about the made up words shit is the biggest exemple of that, not that it isn't a problem, but the way that he gets stuck on it when there is so much more to hate really shows he only played the game and got stuck on the first thing he hated and couldn't let it go, like he is doing an overview, no interest for the big things that suck about later on.

He is just doing the FF reviews now cuz it's his most popular thing, and the FF8 review was what put him on the map. He should just move on to somethinghe trully gives a shit about like his Ultima retrospective, or maybe give it go on the trully TERRIBLE FF spinoffs that are out there and maybe that will give him that spark of true hate he needs.
