The Clone Wars was universally reviled. They cut the price in half so yes its not really that surprising it sold well. I imagine most of the playerbase on right now refunded at first then bought it again at $30. It's not an awful game it just doesn't have nearly enough content to warrant a full-AAA pricetag.

Personally I like playing as a grunt for once. Too many games try to desperately make the player in to the biggest, baddest shit like they all have insecurity issues or something. It's refreshing to be a nameless trooper and still kick people's ass. Kinda like pic related.

How is it not? There was great care taken to establish the plot and make sure the viewer isn't lost. Good example: the scene of Vader putting his helmet back on before an Imperial officer reports to him is there to make sure the viewers know that Vader is a person, not a droid so that the revelation at the climax is more powerful. The movie introduces ideas before they are used. It's not clumsy about it either.

No one gives a shit about Hoth except gamers. The real pay off for the average person is the duel on Bespin which is a personal fight, not a showy special effects scene.

The fight between anakin and obiwan in RotS is 10 minutes long. They dont even try to kill each other, theyre just quickly bashing their laser swords together. What is accomplished by this? Whats the point? If I wanted to watch 2 fags dancing I would have watched something else. Meanwhile in the original movie they are going for killing blows, attacking slowly and methodically, and the fight is less than 2 minutes long. The viewers time is not wasted.
