>13 MILLION SOLD
How many of you mother fucked bought this shit?
Well it was 30$ which you can't really beat.
kind of a shame though. I mean 13 is a fuckload, a metric fuckload. But I would've thought that with the Force Awakens breaking the movie industry over it's knees and the battlefront title it would've sold more. At least as much as CoD did in its prime.
But I guess I'm just overestimating the star wars brand.
that's just an analyst opinion so its entirely worthless
well halo 5 is the lowest selling game in the series so at best battlefront sold around 4 million copies and since most video game sales come from the first month it couldn't have been that popular
you're all fucking edgelord virgins who are abusing each other over literally nothing. cant believe this thread got front paged. Draw a picture or something
>People cry about prequel fights being full of spins and flips
>They did flips in the OT and had spins that were even more pointless than the prequels
>People cry about the fights in the prequels not having any emotion behind them
>Even though it makes sense considering at this point in the time line being a jedi is a job
>People complain about how Jedi being seen as a job is a bad thing
>Despite the fact that the Jedi were never stated to be rare mystical wizards
>Complain about the fact Yoda fights and moves like crazy and acts slow and weak
>Even though that's as cliche as yoda's original gimmick
>Complain about the Jedi councils decisions and get angry when talking about them
>Even though pissing you off was the intended purpose
>/v/ will kick and scream about owning the rights to your own thing and doing what you want with them
>with lucas this doesn't matter
>"b-but it belongs t-to all the p-eople w-ho helped him!!"
>even thought it fucking doesn't and never will
reminder that star wars fans literally cannot be pleased and will hate the force awakens in a few months
The Clone Wars was universally reviled. Where Phantom Menace offered an insight into a younger Obi-Wan and pod racing scenes, and The Revenge of the Sith gave an action-packed mega battle, Attack of the Clones ended up being a boring snooze-fest that revolved around an old man's head being CGId onto another actor's body battling against a stupid green CGI midget. It was unabashedly awful.
>Meanwhile they circlejerk to games made in rpgmaker
Hey now, Mario Maker wasn't that bad.
So is TFA. At least the prequels had the decency to have their main plots make sense. VII goes from being about Luke's map to Death Star 3.0 with no lead up
maxumum b8. V is very well constructed
>According to analysts
>No official source from EA
Excuse my poor wording
I meant the actual wars. Not the movie. I hated the movie, and the only redeeming quality of it for me were the clones. The clones in battlefront 2 were awesome.
They cut the price in half so yes its not really that surprising it sold well. I imagine most of the playerbase on right now refunded at first then bought it again at $30. It's not an awful game it just doesn't have nearly enough content to warrant a full-AAA pricetag.
Personally I like playing as a grunt for once. Too many games try to desperately make the player in to the biggest, baddest shit like they all have insecurity issues or something. It's refreshing to be a nameless trooper and still kick people's ass. Kinda like pic related.
Oh. Then I wholeheartedly agree. They were arguably the best thing out of the prequels. Gave a real 40k vibe that was kind of needed to explain a galactic police force.
How is it not? There was great care taken to establish the plot and make sure the viewer isn't lost. Good example: the scene of Vader putting his helmet back on before an Imperial officer reports to him is there to make sure the viewers know that Vader is a person, not a droid so that the revelation at the climax is more powerful. The movie introduces ideas before they are used. It's not clumsy about it either.
No one gives a shit about Hoth except gamers. The real pay off for the average person is the duel on Bespin which is a personal fight, not a showy special effects scene.
The fight between anakin and obiwan in RotS is 10 minutes long. They dont even try to kill each other, theyre just quickly bashing their laser swords together. What is accomplished by this? Whats the point? If I wanted to watch 2 fags dancing I would have watched something else. Meanwhile in the original movie they are going for killing blows, attacking slowly and methodically, and the fight is less than 2 minutes long. The viewers time is not wasted.
Funny how all star wars threads recently are just derailed in to shitposting about the new movie. Even more funny are the people who think the original 3 were amazing (they were mediocre at best).
NOT EVEN FUCKING CLOSE
Wow, don't go burning yourself with those hot opinions.
I enjoy it. There's a lot of bullshit like the homing shot and the pulse cannon and Walker Assault is hilariously unbalanced towards the rebels after babbies complained because of the beta, but it's a fun casual game. Not everything needs to be counterstrike.
At least it requires you to aim and lead your shot. The most cancer loadout right now is jetpack, explosive shot and bowcaster. Coupled with a rapid fire blaster of choice.
