What are some comfy af games that are not the usual suspects (Animal Crossing, Elder Scrolls, WoW, etc.)
I'm gonna say the original Paper Mario for the N64. I love playing that game before bed.
Another good candidate is Space Engine.
Monster Hunter (3 specifically) is a comfy game because of its beautiful environments. Turn music off for maximum comfactor.
I love the Pikmin series. There's lots of calming music and nice landscapes. Looking through the piklopedia is very comfy. 2 is probably the best in this regard because of the lack of a time limit.
Anno 1404 is the comfiest game I've ever played.
The original Chibi-Robo, the Japan only DS one, and Park Patrol.
Orcs Must Die 2
So much fucking fun

I've had this game for like three years and I've never even installed it. I got gifted it by a friend, and now I'm gonna try it.
Starbound. Yeah, yeah, Terraria is better, devs a shit, etc.
But if there is a thing the game does right, it's being comfy af, specially with these dawns and that OST.

the original Chibi-Robo is my favorite game of all time. The exploration in that was the fucking best. Are there any other games with exploration done that well?
I need to play Park Patrol and the Japan only one, but I'm too lazy to read the translations online while I play.
