Oh man that game looks good
I loved 1 on Vita, even though it was empty and clunky as fuck it was a great experience
Just flying around the city was fun as hell
This game looks really interesting, but
Not to be a shill here but The Long Dark legitimately doesn't feel like early access at all
Nothing feels like it's missing or placeholder and I haven't run into a single bug
Game is great
Still not as annoying as... Mother FUCKING BELSAVIS!
Alderaan gets some saving points because of pvp but it was mostly a shit planet.
>just play this game you've already played a million times over, gosh!
besides, dante isn't a qt japanese school girl
>There's way better swordgames.
then post webms from those and stop acting like a bitch.
Yep. According to some other videos I saw they actually had a couple new classes. One called Hunter and another similar to a Paladin. They also fixed Warrior.
I enjoyed Armageddon. The destruction made it a solid playthrough.
I never even tried to play it. I already had it spoiled for me, and I only recently got Darkness 2 in a humble bundle.
If it ever gets a port, hell yes.
What kind of Kool-Aid do I need to drink to enjoy this game? Everything is so stiff and repetitive. The people in /cgg/ tell me its great and has a lot of depth, but I can't see how. Its timing based sure, but there isn't a whole lot you can do in it. You mostly spend battles doing the same thing over and over, and its so damn repetitive that its easy to get bored even in the first fight since it just keeps throwing boring foot soldiers at you.
I don't see how people in /cgg/ can praise it while shitting on games like DmC and Kingdom Hearts for their gameplay when they're miles better games.
the game actually ran like this on my 770 when I first got it
Probably from the Long War mod.
its.... mocapped but still fucking awful
did they have fucking melvins doing the mocap? Did they tell professionals to move like fucking melvins? I don't get it, mocap is so fucking easy.
Watch dogs woulda been dope if they did their multiplayer modes better.
I would still play online hide and seek to this day if they did simple shit like sync the npc costume you look like.
Gravity Rush 2 is gonna be so fuckin good man
All new dungeons, 3 playstyles, three times as big as the original game, subtle multiplayer, all new kinds of enemies instead of heartless, fucking gonna be G O A T
Four things I remember about this game
1. This death animation
2. Co-op was pretty fun
3. Boulder is hardest boss fight in world
4. Chris hears someone say
> Millions will die
And responds with
> WELL YEAH, but...
Friendly reminder that the "spectacle action" scenes in this movie are a masterclass on how to make your shit look like two unrelated movies (one traditional, one animated) that happen to be sharing the same screen space
Like seriously just kill one major character the first time you do one of these scenes, and then the rest of them will have tension for the duration of the movie. Otherwise everybody gets the memo immediately that nothing is at stake
Also fuck movies
>the whole time they could have just shot the front one and slowed down all the other dinos
>but when they do it last second it's downhill and makes everything worse
I feel like the movie could have been better than it was, except everyone in it was retarded
Maybe this won't go over well...but I believe that RE5 REALLY, REALLY DID need co-op. It had almost nothing else going for it, beyond its production budget. It was the first one without Shinji Mikami (the series creator), and pretty much everything good about it is either sloppily recycled from 4 or purely a product of "co-op is pretty much always fun."
I completely agree with your sentiment, but I think the real problem was that they lost their guiding creative talent. If you think their choices about how to implement co-op were shoddy and misguided, imagine if the same quality of design insight had been put into a single-player campaign instead. Would still be horseshit
Yeah, dumbfires and aircraft don't mix well in BF4
I haven't played it, but I assume that this game is some pretentious overpromising bullshit.
Example: They had to pivot and release a fucking "prelude game" because their original promises weren't feasible. This seems like backpedaling without wanting to admit it.
Other example: Both versions of the game have titles made entirely of bullshit Latin words
Third example: "Sui Generis" means "in a class of its own"
To be fair, MOST of the time it's fine
rockets and aircraft are just the worst offenders
Well, it's probably because you're not playing Hardcore. Normal BF4 is fucking lame as fuck with the minimap, everyone takes forever to die, and that health regen is just unforgivable.
> shit coding
> the concept of lag is annoying
> and also categorically impossible to solve completely
> therefore programmers are dumb
Have you read anything about how netcode in realtime games works? It's a fucking nightmare of a problem
>too long to die
So has Bioware been confirmed for making all of their cutscenes in The Movies yet?
It's not even original Bioware, it's the team that made the failed Warhammer MMO, half of them were fired and the other half rolled into Bioware to make TOR.
Also TOR was one of the most profitable games of 2014, it's far from failed.
Really fucking hate engineers who don't rocket tanks
>5 engineers surround tank that has no gunner
>I rocket and reload
>I rocket again, this time dying
>other engies run away and die in the process
Only thing worse are supports that don't drop ammo
I don't even use a repair tool, just SLAMs and SMAW
Except for buggies, I love those
Go this just recently. Its fun as fuck, but I imagine alot of people just drop it after a while because its pretty shallow and doesnt require very much time to get all the unlocks. I miss when games were as simply as this.
They defenitely tried to add to the lifespan with the metagame, but the way they did the DLc on PC wasn't great
It's a shame really
>Delayed to 2017
I've actually never seen people port begging in Nintendo threads like this. It's only bad if an exclusive game is on a sony platform. Suddenly the consumer matters and exclusives are worse than hitler. Any nintendo game? Nah, they're made by nintendo there's no chance in hell they would come to PC so it's fine.
Sony exclusive. Developers are paid to keep it on the one console, or the game was initially funded by Sony to be developed at all, only on those consoles.
Basically means that Sony is incharge of it's PC release, which they'll never do while the generation is running as it's an apt way to help sell the consoles - and possibly other games.
>Developers are paid to keep it on the one console, or the game was initially funded by Sony to be developed at all
Or, you know, it was made by fucking sony, like sony SCE japan studio.
>Why the fuck would they not bring this to PC
>Japan Studio game
Still plenty of rooms and matches up, it's definitely not dead, and they annouced DLC a month ago with new maps/modes/survival etc. I mainly play because my team is dominating the north american ESL tournament and I'm going to be winning money and seiko watches.
> Tommy gun bullets or shotguns shells slowing dinosaurs down
No, theres a reason why you use proper hunting rifles when taking down big game, its because the bullets arent going to take an effect on those kinds of massive animals
the best it would do is maybe scare them some more, so they would run away faster
Come on, remasters aren't that terrible, I mean they were, but they've fixed a lot of stuff. I've even heard that they're finally going to rebuild the pathfinding part of the engine. Though it's pretty obvious at this point that the multiplayer will never come out of 'beta'.
If the whole campaign of RE5 was a side coop mode for an already existing singleplayer game, it would have been acceptable. RE5's design is not that bad, but babysitting a very dumb AI partner is depressing. You end up having a game too hard in single player, but kinda boring with two human players.
It's mocapped, but probably for a separate scene.
like they have an animation library and just compose a scene using pre-made animation pieces and various camera angles
apparently the newest expansion does this better because they're focusing on one story rather than 8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in8T0XTkSjw Alot funnier with the video
So this is the crap people cream their pants over for the vita? You can keep it.
Yeah just survive
at first when you're looking around you'll find energy bard/beef jerky, packed foods you know, and bottles of water and mostly soda
endgame is full on mountain-man mode, wearing complete outfits of cured hides and going out every couple of days to hunt and get wood
and you actually have to track your pray unless you find a rifle
