Yes, great game

If you never played it, then yes, you should.

If you don't mind turn based combat, and some cheesy aesthetics (Some monsters dont even have real textures) then its a great game

I'm not really a jrpg fan but I picked it up on ps4 while it was on sale to give it a shot.
So far I'm enjoying it. The gameplay seems pretty standard but what I really like is that there's a lot of little minigames to break up the action. I went to the golden saucer as soon as I could and spent a ton of time just dicking around.

It's fun if you're a JRPG fan, otherwise no.

Its alright, a little overrated if you ask me. But, I'm a FFIX fanboy.

Well yeah, if they enjoy the game they're going to claim it's a good game. You can get booty bothered about it all you want, still doesn't change that it is actually a good game and more people than not find it a good game.
