ITT: We post that game we always saw at Blockbuster/generic vidya store as a kid but never ever played
Saw this shit every time I went to Blockbuster, and I saw Stubbs the Zombie at every Gamestop/EB Games ever, and never played either.
You lucked out OP.
It's literally one of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune to play, and its unfinished as shit too. It pretty much Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts' predecessor.
That Xbox demo was pretty great.I just never committed to buying it.
I always saw this piece of fucking shit. It was on the shelf, then in the sale bin, then the clearance rack, then the nickel bargain bin.
Not even 5 cents. No fucking way.
Every time I saw it I thought "This looks stupid" but it always caught my eye for some reason.
OP here, coincidentally that's actually one of my favorite games. It's literally a Super Mario 64 ripoff but with hack and slash combat and air juggling, and generally edgy themes. The level design was pretty good too.
I might emulate it at some point. Disney's "Haunted Mansion" was out around the same time and was also similar to Luigi's Mansion, but I actually liked it way more.
Holy shit I recognize this but completely forgot about it until now. It's definitely "that game".
Remember when Wal-mart sold 6th gen games and they had a cabinet at the end of the aisle dedicated to $20 games? This shit would always take up 2/6th of the space.
Eidos sure did love making edgy games with animals. This was an Xbox launch title by way, wouldn't be surprised if it sold like shit since it was against Halo, Dead or Alive and Project Gotham.
Same here OP
But I saw the trailer on some random Scooby doo CD that came from a cereal box
The CD showed dextar episodes, powerpuff girl episode and a Scooby doo episode I think. And some good features like a music video of dextar and powerpuff and the game trailer
Always wanted to play it
Good ol days
Both Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi 3. I couldn't play them since everyone kept renting them out. At least move the boxes off the display, goddamn.
