Just finished all 7 Star War films.
I want more of the lore.
I'm told the best source for cannon lore is the video games.
Which ones do I play.
Clone Wars (the CG series, not the Tartakovsky one) and Rebels the cartoons.
The only things outside of the movies that are canon now are those two cartoons, the current Marvel comics, a few novels, and EA's Battlefront.
I quite liked what little I saw of the Tartakovsky series. New one any good? The CG really puts me off even a cursory watch
The Battlefront games put the events of the prequel trilogy in a way that makes them seem less cringeworthy & terrible
The KOTOR series is great for lore but is now non-canon
If you watched 7 films, the only lore available is unfortunately of the same abysmal quality as TFA- some comics, the terrible CGI cartoons, and a novel or two.
There is an entire ocean of quality content related to the first 6, but if you're set on incorporating Disney's attempt there's not much to see, and nothing worth seeing.
Only good star wars movies are the 1st two. The rest are all pretty shitty. Even the first two aren't the best things in the entire world. At some points they are a little too campy and corny.
None of the following are canon, except for maybe BF and EaW
Kotor and II have the best reading material but is noncanon
Star Wars Jedi Knight series
Empire at War Gold
if you want a chill game, play Lego Star Wars and Clone Wars.
It's an asian guy named Leland Chee
>Return of the Jedi is an objectively bad movie
Not really. It's exciting, humorous, has a lot of effective dramatic moments. What more would you want in a space adventure movie?
>Those dumb as fuck CGI cartoons are canon
>Muh Darth Maul survived is canon
>All those awesome adventures from the old republic era aren't canon
Why would they do that? It's like they removed all the interesting content and let just shit without any substance.
