I was playing Bloodborne and was stuck on Ebrietas for a while.
I was finally doing a good job, on my 4th attempt or so, I had her down to >1/4 HP.

My fucking internet went out.
I hit continue, hoping it will put me back to where I was in the boss fight. Nope, puts me outside the fog door. But all the items I used in the fight were still consumed, and my health was low at the point it was when I was booted from the game instead of full like it was before I entered the boss door.

I just play the game normally, no mods of any kind, and then apparently VAC shits the bed and disconnects me.
Problem is, I have no idea if it's gonna happen until it does, and by then I'm already kicked with no way back in. Shit's fucked.

This actually kind of happened to me. It's why I quit playing CS:S. I was getting reported several times for hacking because my aim was leet, it just killed the fun for me. I was even bunnyhopping with spacebar, that's how leet I was.
