Basically whoever plays this will be useful and collect mad dosh for the team. Even incompetent players have some room for fuckups due to 175HP, damage reduction and movement bonuses. Still a mandatory HoE perk, even after the nerfs.
Still mandatory for HoE, still a hard to kill, quick bastard that's the best at off-perking shit (Medic AR + whatever = You'll never need a Medic Shotgun to swap to and keep healing if you're level 25 and time your darts properly with the AR). Nerfs to crazy strong armor healing were necessary
So easy to use, even a complete retard will be an effective trash cleaner. Nerfs to M1 spam have greatly reduced his effectiveness at killing big guys, so he's not quite the god of death he was before I&D
Basically a squishier Commando but beefed with a ton of useful stuff, like movement bonuses, target penetration and far less ammo problems. LV20 skill that allows him to trip charging FPs is amazing. The best Scrake killer in the game.

Nerfs to Nuke made him a more honest class, but you still need to sweat your fucking ass as him to be useful. Guaranteed stun on FP wit dynamite with that one skill is great. 100HP and lack of movement bonuses make you a liability for HoE, unless your team is utterly on point. Weak at close to mid-ish range. Utter trash at the boss wave.
Whoever plays this will either be the most worthless cuck in the face of the earth and aggro Scrakes with the Bullpup or will be someone with 300+ hours played and an exquisite knowledge of the game. VOIP is a bit of a necessity so he can call out remaining enemy healths. Call Out is an useful skill in general, and the Patriarch is affected by it
The Dan of KF2. Invariably some retard that thinks his Solo performance or managing to spray down FPs with his AA12 on 3-man Hard with his friends is representative of the perk's strength. Start votekick immediately on Sui/HoE if a Support joins

Good thing I'm not useless. That one ability, the one that stacks up to 7 for headshots for 10% extra damage per stack, feels incredibly overpowered if you're any good at getting headshots. Sirens are dead in like two or three deagle rounds to the head and you can dish incredible damage to scrakes, though fleshpounds are fucking hard to get headshots on. It's also the only perk that seems to have absolutely no ammo troubles, since you have so many different pools to draw from and each bullet is worth a lot.

Because it was on sale for 2.49 bucks multiple times, and the times that such sales happened the game had already been updated to hell and back with a shit ton of new weapons, and also it had a TF2 promo with free hats during the time the TF2 hat craze was at an all time high.
I miss the old dialogue menu. I miss being able to actually hear dialogue. I miss SS. I miss qt stalkers.
Support is fucking trash. Leveling demo is miserable. It's STILL in early access. There aren't enough weapons and half of them suck.
Hopefully it's in a better state when it's actually finished.

KF1 was cheap, fun, had a style that was like Gwar (weird and dark, but totally aware of itself), and had tons of content thanks to the userbase.
KF2 has none of these things, except for possibly fun, but even that is a bit lax with how ridiculous the game gets in artificial difficulty sometimes (ie how much a Scrake can soak). None of the things that made me love KF1 are there.

With KF2, I don't know why, but I feel like I can't tell what the fuck is going on half the time.
The being auto turned towards the monster giving you a hicky and a back rub really throws off my sense of direction and the amount of camera shake really made my eyes boggle.
Only about 2 hours worth of KF2 and I don't feel like playing it again.

My problem is it's not a very reliable method. Slinger can do it far easier thanks to higher movement speed.

Exactly this, tripwire has done nothing new really, except for hans, which is the worst boss out of the two right now.
The 10 perks they have now are essentially just the old perks from kf1 split up except now with terrible perk balancing and skill choices. They also made welding completely worse. Really the only thing this game has over kf1 is that it looks somewhat better, although even at that it looks like everything was covered in oil or something.
Everything else is worse than kf1 so far, all the grunge is gone, guns feel weak because of the game's pacing being sped up so much too.
And also, microtransactions, but not only that, rng crates.

The reason Hans is bad is because the way he's balanced is beyond retarded. His gas does so little damage it might as well not exist, and his melee does immense damage per hit, he has a wombo combo to kill anything short of a zerker in two seconds, and his melee has little to no knockback so you're still in melee range IF you somehow miraculously survive his barrage so he will just do it again anyway because you're so close to him.

you use 3 firebugs, 1 medic and 2 zerkers and you will be unstoppable and able to deal with everything fast and effective but if you use any other perk you are subpar
since they have a personal QA and don't release updates unless they personally think it is ok people get bored and quit playing for months on end instead of letting people try out broken maps and weapons
and they don't take any suggestions from the community like they said they would either so people just don't care

KF1 was more barebones at launch than early access KF2 is right now. It only got a larger playercount when community content started rolling in a few years into it's life. KF1 was stagnant as fuck before that.
The worst part is that people wanted Early Access, it's just that everyone expected it to be similar RO2 launch, to avoid disaster.
But I have to admit, even in initial EA state it was their most polished title.

It was pretty commendable actually. A very polished release. The only problem I had was my UI elements were completely spastic, but the data was readable. In fact it's actually gotten less optimized since then. Massive frame drops and artifacting now.

Early Access in theory = audience funding the devs for better quality content
Early Access in practice = no incentive for devs to finish their game as long as the cash is flowing

They're doing Early Access, is why. Specifically, they're doing it wrong. Rather than releasing substantial content updates on a regular schedule (e.g. Grim Dawn, or better yet Prison Architect which did it once a month every month) they're just sort of intermittently sharting out tiny updates with no real rhyme or reason. Even the crafting survival things like The Forest and Subnautica are being updated more often and with more direction.
I haven't played since like v1007. How's the hammer? Is it still beastly? Pretty much all of my friends are playing it, but it's still early access and I refuse to buy it unless it's dirt cheap.

I have a gtx 970 and STILL get 30-50 fps, usually more 30, IN OFFLINE MODE. And its the game, because I can run every other game I own 60+ FPS. I hate unreal engine so much, even on lowest settings I still get drops. It sucks.
Also the community is shit
The Forest even has a countdown timer for the next update after every update they do, and to my knowledge they haven't run over time to any substantial degree, if at all.
I trusted Tripwire after the closed beta when they actually updated and patched the game pretty much every day it was running, and then they pull this shit on me. I doubt I'll buy another EA Tripwire game, if another Tripwire developed one at all, and I'm still unsure if I should take the plunge for RS2 just since Tripwire's publishing it.
They should change the name to "unfinished games"
Early access implies you get to experience something early, before its intended release. So many of these games wont even see a legit release so what are you "accessing early." They really need to change things around or people need to stop buying this shit. Maybe an "unfinished game" cant be sold for more than $5 so if the creator wants to make more money they will get off their asses and finish some features.

1. Weapon dlc are cosidered 'normal' as in 'we've done it in KF1'.
2. Early access doesn't mean shit anymore. Starting game in early access is just like publishing full game aside it can suck, have no content and be more buggy and you can't complain.
Still, there's a chance they'll give free maps and weapons and be happy with just money from cosmetics.
It doesn't excuse the sheer lack of progress TWI has made. The rate of updates is painfully slow. In the time KF2 has been available on steam to now KF1 added multiple map packs, new perks, new characters, new seasonal specials, and new weapons. KF2 added a single new map, a new perk, 2 new weapons and a "new" boss.
He's right about KF not being a tits and ass showcase, it's not that sort of game. He's wrong about "female objectification". He's also the reason why characters can't insult each other any more because muh safe space.
There's no goddamn content. Just give us all the fucking perks already, hell even a few maps every month would be more than fine compared to the crap they're currently pulling.

Does anybody else get a wierd stutter/freeze sometimes in online games when a teammate dies? I know it can be caused when purchasing new weapons in between rounds which I would assume is just the game loading it up for the first time, but the freeze after someone dies just happens randomly it seems.
M8 a SS did better against trash than demo and the Hunting shotty allowed him to do some really good FP/SC speedkills.

shrapnel is incredibly broken, you get explosions all the time and wipe out trash instantly
yeah you want the splash damage since the most damage you can do as firebug is tap firing and aiming for their feet

basically you just wanna use the caulk & burn and the microwave gun, the trench gun is shit and the flamer is just worse than the microwave
Firebug in KF2 is literally the best perk in the game, it's no joke.
Great for both trash and big zeds and especially that one of perks stumbles zeds, including of course big zeds at close quarters, making him very good in stopping raged attacks.
you move at the same speed till you hit max carry weight which is 15/15, if you're 14/15 you move at the same speed as if you were 0/15, but if you hit 15/15 you're slowed down
if you get strength as support the cap is raised to 20/20, so if you're at 19/20 you move the same speed as you were at 0/20 or 0/15 without strength
all perks besides zerk, medic, and GS move at the same speeds since those 3 perks have a speed bonus
