Well, let's see.
Does stalker count as rpg? Barely, no skills and stats. Still a good play.
Xenus: boiling point (set in columbia, firearms and stuff, several factions, stats and some stealth), xenus 2 (more casual that BP, but still an RPG of some sort). Highly recommend Xenus: BP. Can get addicted to coke, can improve gun skills and so on.
Precursors. Think Xenus 2, but in space and shit.
I do not recommend xenus 2 and precursors, as I got bored of them quite soon.

i think modding has come to a grinding halt until the GECK comes.
you're starting to see mods that require you to input console commands to function and that's where i draw the line. opening up the console is the opposite of immersive.

i'm waiting for people to get access to the gun models, mod models and weapon modding so we can start seeing some really good weapons and modding.
