I hate the execution of it. Its literally just Xcom 1 with a different skin, far too few features that actually show what a resistance would be like.

I'm a little hyped but that season pass shit really irks me

I hope they're actually telling the truth about the mod support. I seem to recall a similar thing with Civ V mods but nothing came of it for ages and on the whole it was pretty disappointing.

Just got my first MEC on LW. It's a Goliath. So far pretty underwhelming but I hear it can become god later on specially with a good psionic backing it up.

I actually hate the last X-com, with the whole alien pod thingy.

It takes a hold in the mechanics and you end up playing popping meta and overwatch traps.

And they double down on that in this second one by adding "stealth" (which is anohter name for popping pods) properly into the mechanics.

I wish I had a video of the last time i played Xcom. I was in their secret base, and I had hardly ran into any of them. I got to the part where you find people being experimented on and I fought a few Xrays. I had great vision, only omitting 3 squares covering a ramp. After kill the Xrays, i moved my sniper down the ramp.

Out popped 6 Mutons, and 3 of those creepy fuckers who infest people. I always move my sniper last...
