All mobile games are cancer but pad is at least fun for being a time waster.
I can't beat descend dungeons yet and I don't want to spend money so I think I hit a wall, still fun to just grind though.
Brave Frontier is my poison of choice. Something about the combination of strategy and collection has me hooked.
Yeah, if you're patient enough to wait for the good Summon Gates, you can get some pretty good value.
Not really a mobile game, but I've been playing DQ4. Outside of the accents it's a good port.
This. Also Gumi/Amil is nice enough to give out compensations from time to time when shit fucks up.
It's probably the only P2P I ever played where it's actually pointless to pay for rare currency because if you're patient enough you can get Gems like crazy during events/Frontier/area completions/etc...
My only gripe is getting multiple units sometimes
Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
As someone who never spends a cent on mobile games it's nice to find one where I can still get all the content. You get a fairly insane amount of mythril just from logging in and doing the weekly event. It helps that the most OP strategy in the game is incredibly cheap to set up and can carry you all the through the game and most of the weekly events.
Definitely, though Gumi does a lot less of that than Alim. I've dropped a bit myself on gems, 'cause I had disposable income and wanted to take advantage of a promo, but plenty of people do just fine going F2P.
As someone who has played it for over 2 years, it's even worse now. Back when I started, you could reroll for a good leader and clear everything with enough effort and skill, which is pretty good for mobile game standards. Now rerolling won't even get you that far anymore, because you generally want a full gacha exclusive team for doing the hardest dungeons.
suggest to me new ios games, since handhelds are practically dead ( monopoly market in the west )
Well, they made two spin off's that I find decent but nowhere near as good as Kingdom Rush, the others were titled Kingdom Rush: Frontier and Legends I think.
I even bought the steam version for $2.99.
I think PAD has enough content to be enjoyed outside of the hardest dungeons, but when it comes down to it you're right. For most descended dungeons it seems like your ability to progress is determined by the diversity of your box. Looking at at the top ten for the recent ranking dungeon makes me imagine mountains of gems spiraling down a funnel.
I wish for two things.
One, that the storyline would actually start making some god damn sense instead of LOL ALIENS, although I've taken to calling the N'Zeer INVISIBLE SPACE DRAGONS.
And two, for the userbase to not be filled with spoofers and colossal faggotrons.
I try using the in-game chat but it's usually filled with shitters and people too far from me. There's this one BIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH on Resistance side who will literally not stop whining if Enlightened come anywhere near her area.
For the record, I started Res, then flipped to Enl, stopped playing shortly afterwards. I've been meaning to pick it back up since I'm in the Orlando area and there actually are a lot of portals.
Ingress. The game where everything's made up and the points don't matter. In VERY short and broad terms, it's a global version of Capture the Flag that uses real world locations as flags.
Kali's kalis are pretty nice
Autism is powerful anon. People spend thousands of bucks on gems just to get shit.
Someone ruined their life trying to roll Scathach in FGO. Autism is an understatement.
I like Defender 2, and Wrassling.
I'm actually up in Tallahassee, neat. Fortunately, my guy isn't that bad. He's actually sort of helpful to new people, but he can get old quick because it seems like he's on there all day and can't type for shit.
I mostly just use it as something to do on the city bus. Hack and link whatever's in range.
>I have shit taste
Unless you like Haku. She's pretty great.
>Not playing brave exvius
I shiggity diggity doo
worst china is Sakuya
best girl is
I can't play PAD on bluestacks, so I just muck about in PSO2es
What's it like being wrong?
Anyone play Neko Atsume?
thirdfavorite. Also the only one I actually own.
I'm waiting 'til it comes out in english, I'm too lazy to look up translations for everything.
lmao stupid farlonfag you enjoy GUMI's dick while I enjoy my free 20 summon tickets from new years because i bothered to read up a small guide on menu's.
to my knowledge , no. plays well tho on the iphone and looks nicer on a less shit screen, also own the 3ds version too. next handheld quality game i amwaiting for is.. fantasylife 2
She's the only one I never got.
Then again other than Mei-mei, they were the chibi versions.
>save up all my stones for godfests where the Chinas are featured, even if a different one would be better for my box
>still no Leilan or Karin
>instead roll a DKali with my 5 poverty stones
How do we save the world from mobile gaming?
I can accept to some extent that mobile gaming is the future, and it shouldn't need to be a bad thing. The smartphone is just really accessible as a gaming device, and it has a huge install base, so of course developers and publishers see potential in it. And with how powerful smartphones are becoming, technology isn't really holding back mobile games that much anymore either.
But then there's all these dubious practices that developers apparently have found out are really effective for games like these. Mechanics that only allow you to play for a few minutes at a time unless you spend money. Content locked behind microtransactions with RNG, sometimes requiring people to spend literally thousands of dollars to unlock a character, which might be required to beat content in the game. Competitive events where the winners are literally determined by who spends most money. Grindy gameplay to keep people occupied between scarce content releases.
What needs to happen for us to escape this grim fate?
You poor, waifuless bastard.
Don't worry about it, mobile gaming isn't going to take over the market and the reason is because handheld games have been popular for decades but never as big as console or pc. Just because developers are making games for mobile devices doesn't mean that they'll stop making games for the systems even if micro-transactions pretty much pay for the game's development. The market simply isn't self sustainable for companies.
I finally rolled a christmas haku after 11 rolls. and I'm non iap.
feels good to have collab golds...I couldn't care less about getting the best leads anyway. Yuna as my main leader is pretty sick.
Best I got from FF was Vivi , and that's only if his counter active works the way I think it does.
>Counter is pretty mediocre, sorry anon.
Are there any fun mobile games with cute monsters? And no anime waifu monsters
That's an adult woman.
Are you fucking retarded? Little girls in PAD is literally 5% of the whole game. Also the only Fairy Tale girl that's a little girl is Little Red Ridding Hood. The others are adult women, yet again.
