Open irons. I'm a purist. I have an EOTech on my tavor, and an aimpoint on a cx4, but i generally prefer irons.

But if I absolutely have to chose a rifle with an optic, it's gotta be a bolt action 30 cal with a scout scope, like 2-5x, mounted on picatinny with backup irons.
