> tfw they nerfed my memegun right after I bought it
You seem to have posted this thread on /v/, so I'll post accordingly.
>6 inch barrel
It's like you don't even want strangers to know about your micropenis.
Now why would you get this, when you get a semi auto m4
T O M M Y B O Y S
This is not a meme gun.
A literal jam factory that would seize up if you looked at it wrong also smaller mags than what the rice farmers were using. You don't send a gun that jams when it gets moist to a war in a jungle
Don't blame the maker at least, he made an updated rifle that fixed the problems of the 16 with innovations that would be implemented into some of the rifles found now, like the SCAR platform. Fucking weird the US stuck with that thing for so long and eventually made it something usable, even crazier than the L85.
That is partly to blame for many models being advertised as self cleaning, obviously your gun will fuck up if it's not maintained. Even now it can run less rounds than average through testing, compared to newer guns the US has put through trials for a new service rifle, but at least the infrastructure is in place now where this is much less of an issue.
But I'm not talking about the ones used by citizens I'm talking about the ones used by solders who have been trained to clean their guns religiously. Even during the first gulf war the sand would fuck up m16s more than the all the AK variants
If the M16 sucks so bad, why did everyone imitate its design philosophy? Why does is it the second most issued rifle in the world. Sure the first run M16s had terrible reliability, and small mags, but that was fixed even before the US had left Vietnam.
the quintessential special snowflake revolver
That self cleaning bull they spread effected soldiers in Vietnam before they updated instructions, soldiers weren't even given the tools to clean it. It's insane they gave people what was basically a prototype for combat. But it will always have problems yes because of the way the bolt works.
They imitated the ergonomics of the gun, but a lot of the internal innovation came from other AR models, especially the AR-18.
>doesn't help that you suck ass with it
>Don't blame the maker at least
What the hell is wrong with this board, why do you all talk like literal teenagers
>want overpriced outdated technology that has been made pointlessly complicated and impossible to unfuck when it eventually fucks itself on its own retarded design?
I'll take two of these, two pairs of cargo shorts, all of your slayer and nightwish t-shirts, and one black trenchcoat please.
It's shit in Fallout 4, it's shit in Payday 2. Is there any game where it's not shit?
I remember it was okay in Fallout 2, but by the time you get one you had plenty of other automatic weapons to choose from.
By they you mean almost everyone.
Theres also the advantage of being able to carry more ammo, and it fires with a flatter trajectory than say 7.62x39, and it has lighter recoil.
that was the idea. the company who made this gun (mateba) did alot of other designs that were a bit more successful.
like this one for example, the velocity and accuracy was fucking awful, but the recoil was very easy to handle.
>a stamped metal ugly PoS does everything the tommy can do but better.
>This is not a meme gun.
yes it is
